For a while we pretended
That we never had to end it
But we knew we'd have to say goodbye
You were crying at the airport
When they finally closed the plane door
I could barely hold it all inside
Peter and you had been together for three years now. Living together with him was crazy, due to him having to go out and be Spider-Man; you were overjoyed that he had such a big heart and wanted to protect everyone but, it also made you nervous that he may never come home. You always pushed those thoughts aside, until today.
Peter was called Tony Stark to go fight with the Avengers, Guardians, and many other superheroes to save the galaxy. You didn't want him to leave but, you knew he had to; this was his job.
"Do you really have to go, Pete...?" You said sadly looking down at the airports tile. You felt strong arms wrap around your body, hugging you.
"I have to, love. As much as I don't want to leave you...... I need to save the galaxy and protect the things that mean the most to me, you and Aunt May." He held your chin softly in his hands, making you look up at him.
Walking to the plane doors with your boyfriend, you stood there watching him walk inside the private plane; tears began falling down your face. You heard footsteps coming toward you and arms around you.
"I love you, (Y/n). I promise you that I will come back home to you." You looked up into his light, chocolate browns eyes with your red, puffy (eye colour) eyes. He leaned in and kissed you long and passionately, not wanting to ever let go. He walked back up the stairs, smiled at you, waved, and the doors closed.

You didn't know where Peter was but, you didn't care. Waiters that were men would flirt with you but, you knew that Peter was always going to be the only one for you.

I didn't care where we were going to go fight this bad guy, I missed (Y/n). I love her with all my heart and I would most likely be gone for months.
I could fly a thousand oceans
But there's nothing that compares to
What we had, and so I walk alone
Once I landed, I had called (Y/n) just to hear her voice; I missed her cuddling next to me, her smile, her laugh, and everything about her I missed. I knew I had to focus on fighting to save the galaxy but, it was rather difficult.

{A few weeks later and the day Thanos attacks}
I wish I didn't have to be gone
Maybe you've already moved on
But the truth is I don't want to know
I hoped (Y/n) was doing well and I tried my hardest to call her every night but, I couldn't. Being exhausted from all the training I had to do, I couldn't tell her how much I needed her with me.

Peter had been gone for weeks and hadn't called in awhile. You hadn't heard anything about some force attacking Earth but, knew it has probably best to leave Peter had left text messages and voice mails for him to hear. On the news, you saw a large hole appear in the sky and knew, Peter would be there fighting to save everyone.
You can say we'll be together

So why can't I stop feeling this way
You prayed that Peter would be alright and for any of the other heroes fighting would be okay as well.
The heroes popped up on the screen and you saw Peter along with many others fighting beside him; his agility, strength, power, and all of his senses seemed to have improved since he left New York and came back. Watching intently, you saw an alien looking thing throw Peter into a building and, the concrete fell on top of him.
You gasped and tears fell down your face; Iron Man-Tony- threw the concrete off of him and laided him away from the fight.
Peter's View
"I'm sorry, Mr. Stark. I'm sorry, Tony." I spoke softly.
"It's alright, kid. Stay here, stay safe." He said with his helmet off; he flew back off to fight and I laid there regaining some strength back so, I could fight again.

Peter had taken you out to a romantic picnic in your favorite meadow, in Upstate New York. Smiling and laughing, you and Peter stood and looking at the lake in front of you; not noticing Peter knee down you heard,"(Y/n)." You looked over and saw Peter on one knee.
"I don't know what I would've done without you these past few years. You've never left me, even after finding out that I was Spider-Man; you accepted me, loved me, cared for me, laughed with me, smiled with me, cried with me, and remained happy with me. Those things are my debt to you..... and for that," he paused, pulled out a box, and opened it,"(Y/n), for everything I owe you, will you do be the honor of marrying me?"
Tears poured out of your eyes as you nodded your head; he stood up, slid the ring on your finger, hugged you, and you kissed passionately. You couldn't wait to be (Y/n) Parker~
