Soulmates (Jyrus)

Chapter 2

Cyrus pov:

After a long week, it was finally the day of Andi's party. (Btw I'm skipping to Friday) I was in my room trying to pick out an outfit to wear. I flipped through the closet in frustration. A part of me wanted to make sure I looked cool for Jonah. I didn't understand why, but I always had a feeling of wanting to be next to Jonah or in his presence. After making a mess of things, I decided to FaceTime Buffy and ask her opinion on an outfit. My phone rang a couple times and then she picked up
"Hey vampire slayer!" I said knowing the name annoyed her. In response she rolled her eyes then said "So what's up??" I flipped my phone camera and showed her the mess I made.
"I can't choose between two outfits. Which one would you said is a party outfit?" She scrunched her eyes in thought before saying,
"I'd say the blue shirt with jeans. That way you still look good without trying to hard." (His outfit is at the top) I then nodded. We talked a little more about the party. Just basic stuff like who would be there and what's happening. After s little bit we hung up, so we could get ready. I put on my clothes and before walking out the door I checked myself out in the mirror. Happy with the way I looked, I walked out the door and began walking over to Andi's.

Me and Buffy were the first to arrive. We helped Andi set up food and cleared an area for dancing. I tried to steal some food a couple times only for Andi to bat away my hand. After an hour people began to show up. Little by little the house began to get crowded. Already losing Andi and Buffy, I decided to go in the kitchen. Nobody was in there except for one other guy. I went in stealing a cookie and stuffing my face with it. A chuckle from my left caused me to turn my head. The guy in the room had his eyes on me. After swallowing I said "Take a picture it lasts longer." He just smirked at me until introducing himself. "I'm Milo." He held out his hand and I awkwardly tried to go in for a "bro" hug. This caused Milo to laugh at me causing a confused look on my face. In response to my confusion he said "Dude I was just gonna go in for a simple handshake." My cheeks got red in embarrassment. Then realizing I never said my name I replied, "I'm Cyrus by the way."

Before any more words were shared, Jonah entered the room. He was wearing a black shirt and ripped jeans. His eyes wandered to mine and then to Milo's. Jonah then came up to me grabbing my wrist and said "Come on Cy-guy! We're going to join a game." Before I could say goodbye to my new friend I had made, Jonah was dragging me to a circle of people. In the circle, was Andi and about 10 other people. I was confused on what was going on, but decided to sit by Andi. Jonah went over and sat by someone who was on the frisbee team. Just as I was about to ask what the game was Andi announced "Okay guys time for a little game of spin the bottle. Maybe someone can find their soulmate tonight." Hearing this made me tense a little bit. The thought of finding my soulmate was always in my head. Could one of these people be my soulmate? I was deep in thought until it was my turn to spin. My hand wrapped around the bottle and I gave it a hard spin. My eyes followed it going around. I could feel my heart jumping in my chest, the thud getting louder and louder. The bottle began to slow down, everyone eyeing it. It finally came to a complete stop. My eyes followed the person it landed on. As I looked up, I locked eyes with the person I was supposed to kiss. Jonah Beck.

Okay so I watched the movie Emelie cuz josh is in it and it was creepy af. Anyways I wrote this without reading for mistakes so sorry if there's any. I hope people are actually liking this I lowkey don't know I feel about it 😬
