The Lunch Awaits

Luggy, being the real hero of the Mario family, was walking down the dirt road made of dirt. Goomba Village was his first place of journey. Mostly because the Toads recommended it, because they saw some glorious shooting star or something fall near it. Clouds of dirt flew up from Luggy's boots. "Boy, it sure is... dirty? Yeah, dirty around here." Luggy had built a habit of saying random things to himself. "Dirty? More like our homes!" A voice called out from behind a bush. Luggy turned around. "ShhShhShShSHH!" Another voice whispered. "What?! I can't stand to see a stupid Mayro bro roast us BY TALKING TO HIS STINKIN' SELF! I MEAN, WHO TALKS TO THEMSELVES ANYMORE?! HAHAHA!! WHAT A COMPLETE WIMPOLA!!" "You- UGH! DIMWITTED GUMBALL! You gave our position away!" The bush six feet away from Luggy shook, and out jumped the Red and Blue Goomba Bros, revealing themselves. "Haha! Can't escape us!" Red goomba yelled. Blue goomba looked a bit less... motivated. "Yeah.. uh.. har har." Luggy just stared at them. "Prepared to get as burned as the color of my skin!" Red goomba said, menacingly. "Uhh... Well, uh... Ever get the blues?" Blue goomba asked, trying to be cool like his older bro. "Well.. if not.. prepare to get some... blues?" Both Luggy and Red goomba blankly gave Blue goomba a look of disbelief. "What the heckarooney was THAT?!" Red goomba said. "Uh.. A roast? I'm not very good at it, bro." Blue goomba replied. "Whatever, hotshot, prepare to get yourself beaten to a fly-ridden pulp!" Red goomba attacked Luggy with his not-so-powerful headbonk attack. Luggy easily dodged it. Blue goomba proceeded to try out his headbonk attack, but failed as well. Luggy jumped on Red goomba, then kicked Blue goomba straight in the face. Blue goomba went whirling backwards, and hit a blue switch in the grass. The switch was pressed, and a roar was heard in the distance. "Bro. Idiot man. How did this happen." Red goomba said sarcastically, but trying hard not to show how angry he actually was. "Uhhh... Lucky shot from the green missile?" The Green Missile is not only a move in Super Smash Brothers Brawl, but a nickname given to Luggy in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. "WHAT?! YOU CALL THIS A LUCKY SHOT?! ARE YOU MAD?! WE JUST FAILED AS A TEAM! PREPARE TO DIE, LUGGY!!" Red goomba yelled, trying to attack Luggy, but just bonked his head on the nearest Goomnut tree. Blue goomba, knowing better, just ran away from the fight he knew they couldn't win. Red goomba got back on his feet and chased Blue goomba in the grass. Luggy looked around. Now that the odd-ball fight was over, he wanted to know exactly what the blue switch did. It took him a good minute to notice the Goomba King's old, broken bridge had been repaired. "Well, would you look at that!" Luggy exclaimed. He crossed the bridge, then found himself in the Goomba Village. Normally, there would been friendly goombas bustling about, but not a goomba was to be seen. "Well, this is a good time to take a break." Luggy said, and ate his mushroom sandwich he had packed for Princess Peach's castle.
