Out back on the road to Toad Town

"Luggy! Luggy! Look what I made!" Goombario exclaimed. "He's not gonna care, Goombario, about a leaf pile." Goombella retorted. Luggy turned around and walked over to Goombario's pitiful and quite sad leaf pile. "Very nice!" He said, trying to make Goombario feel better. "Oh yeah, and look at this! This leaf looks just like you!" Goombario ran over to Luggy and showed him a leaf. It looked like.. anything but Luggy. "Hey, it's just like me!" Luggy said. "Good work!" Goombella probably desired attention now, after Goombario's spotlight. "Hey, uh, Luggy! Want to hear about the stars? We're learning it right now in my AP-Astronomy class!" "Huh, I didn't even know that existed! Go give it a whirl!" Luggy said, and sat down. Goombario sat down too. "Okie dokie!" Goombella said, and ran off to get on top of a fairly large rock. "Stars. They're made of gas and glow bright. Fire does not burn in space unless you're Pyro. Any questions?" "Yes. Can I have a lightly-toasted sandwich with mozzarella cheese and some bacon?" Goombario asked as a joke. Goombella made a face. "Wow, you're starting to get me hungry now, y'know. Wish I had more sandwiches." Luggy said. "I have a couple sandwiches.. If you don't mind." A voice stated in the bushes. "What?" Luggy asked, turning around. Vern, the Koopatrol from before, ran out and shook Luggy's hand. "I hope I'm not being rude, but it's pretty lonely following the rules of every koopa for himself.' I have a couple sandwiches and they're still pretty toasty!" Goombella walked up to him. "Do we look stupid to you?" "Hey, hey, no need to get mad, maybe he is turning his head from negativity!" Goombario Exclaimed. "Yup yup, that's right! Those guys treat me like crap, and I have an itch to wack em' someday." Vern stated. "... I'm not buying it." Goombella said. "Well, we could always use an extra pair of hands on our team!" Luggy said. "Yeah, let's just get to Toad Town!" Goombario agreed. "Dang... Fine." Goombella whispered and followed them through the woods.
