There may be some strong language present.
As I opened the file, I saw pictures of myself, both younger, and... older?
"What is this?" I asked, now very confused. "Is this some sort of a joke?"
"Are you in or not?" He asked back, ignoring my questions. Seems to be a trend with this guy.
"I'm... I..." I thought about it. This is just a game, right? 'Follow the rules and you'll be fine'.
"Well?" He said, with his icy eyes piercing through me.
"I'm... in." I said. Was that a smile I saw? Was he... actually glad I joined?
"Open the yellow package first, then take the pill. Everything will start to make sense."
"No way!" I exclaimed. "This could be drugs or something. I am not going to be drugged by a stranger."
He laughed, and his curls jumped up and down. He truly was breathtaking, in his own way.
He opened the package, and took the purple pill in his hand. He then took out an identical pill from out of his pocket.
"Will you do it if I take one with you?" He asked, his laughter now toned down to a slight chuckle.
"How do I know that both aren't drugs? Or that one is and the other one isn't?" I said, still doubting him. There is no way in hell that I'm going to be an idiot and get drugged.
He took the two pills in his hands, then shook them together. Laid one pill right infront of me, and swallowed one of the purple pills himself.
"Well I guess you'll just have to trust me." He said, looking me into my eyes. "What are you going to do?"
Although he was trying to convince me that it's fine to take it, he wasn't pressuring me. What a gentleman, I thought sarcastically.
I had to find out somehow what, and how, he had this information about me.
I lifted up the pill, and held it between my thumb and index finger, studying the pill.
I moved my hand closer to my mouth. My lips parted and i felt the circular pill land on my tongue. I swallowed the pill, still sceptical. There's no going back now, huh?
"So?" He started. "How are you feeling?" He raised an eyebrow and smiled at me with that wonderful smile of his.
I felt a little dizzy, and thirsty. I took a sip of my now cold coffee. Bitter. I forgot to put a little sugar in it. Well it's too late now.
"I... I feel fine, apart from the slight dizziness." I said, partly surprised.
"Yeah, that's about the only side effect." He paused for a second. "That is, unless you count what happens after the dizziness wears off."
"Wha- WHAT?!" I said, while I tried to keep my voice down, since we were in a coffee shop and all. But damn, it was hard.
"You'll understand in a few minutes." He said, surprisingly calm over the fact that I just acidentally spat a little in his face. "So instead of freaking out, let's talk."
"Talk?! You have to be kidding me!" I had to take a deep breath in order to calm down.
I stood up, and moved myself towards the restroom. While the dizziness would naturally increase by standing up as quickly as I did, all the dizziness had disappeared. It was as if it just flew away as soon as I stood up.
My vision was becoming blurry, but I wasn't dizzy. What the hell is happening to me?
