Christine's POVI had been pushing for hours I don't remember having this mutch pain when I had Gustave. I explained everything to him not in detail of course but some of it and thankfully he is on my side and not his father's. I just pray it's a boy I don't know what I'll do if it is a girl. The worst part about this birth is that I had to do it myself. I could'nt risk anyone helping me.
I pushed as hard as I could and it finally was out. I knew what to do next because I had been reading about births trough out this pregnancy, I just followed the book. My baby was crying I washed it off gently and I saw to my delight that it was a boy. I rubbed him in and held him in my arms. He is so beautiful.
I call'd for Gustave and he came in with Henry next to him. I did'nt know he was here. Henry had a longing look in his eyes. He came closer to the bed and I gave him our son. "Henry, our son! Thank god" he whispered and kissed his little head.
Henry and I talked about the future sort of, the child stays with me of course and since Henry will re-marry soon he will try to come as often as he can. Now for his promise. "I promise I won't hurt your husband I swear in our son." I could tell he told the truth. I can always tell when people are lying to me.
"Thank you" I told him and he took my hand and kissed it slowly. By the corner of my eye I saw Erik in the door. I tried to say his name but he left before I could do anything. I gave Henry sometime alone with our son while I tried to run after Erik but the pain was killing me. I run out the door and I saw Erik leaving. "Erik?!" I call'd out to him. "Please!" He stoped walking and looked at me in my white robe and bare feet and my longing look for him. He looked at me with something I have never seen before. Hatred.
