Henry's pov

I was going out into war. As I made ready to say goodbye to my family. A flash of memory came to me. Christine. I need to forget her. You can't lose something you never had.
Besides, I have a new wife now. Chathrine Parr. The perfect wife. I know I will never have anymore children but I'm happy to have found someone I can enjoy til my death.
If I die in France I do want her to marry again and remember me in her prayers.

I walked into the room were my family would be waiting for me. I said goodbye to Mary who was crying.

"Do not cry Mary for I do not attend to die." I kissed her forehead and looked at Elizabeth. "Promise to write to me often tell me all that happens in my kingdom or whatever you see fit to write."

"Yes your majesty I promise" I smiled at her and kissed her forehead. She is like her mother...

I walked over to my wife again holding her hands gently. "I leave my children in your care. Farewell." I kissed her hand and then a farewell kiss. I looked at them all one last time before I left.

Everything is as it should be.

Christine's pov

I was putting Henry to bed. I can't believe he is almost 6 years old. My big little boy. He has his father's temper and passion. I was thinking about the king. I wish him well with the new wife and the war. I pray his children will be good rulers so my son won't have to be apart of anything like this. I know that Edward takes over and if he does not have children the crown passes down to Mary and then Elizabeth. But what if something happens to all of them?

What will I do then?

Stop it Christine! It's treason to think such thoughts. I looked over at Henry who was sound asleep. I got up from the bed gently so I won't hurt my back.

I closed the door and looked down at my stomach. Soon. I have not told Erik yet. But I will soon. All in the right timing. For now everything is as it should be.
