A heartbreak

You rose a eyebrow at him.  "Max are you.. Jealous?" He just crossed his arms and gave you a stare. The stare felt like a bullet. You sighed. "Max you don't have anything to worry about. I'm just trying to make some new friends ok? Anyway.. I have many friends that are boys." You said.

"Oh, you do now?" He said raising a eyebrow. "Max, seriously." You started to get a little stubborn with him. It was complete silence between you two for a few seconds. Max sighed. "Prove it."

"What?"

"Prove that you only love me."

You looked at him in slight shock for a second, then kissed him passionately, then pulled away. But your face was only a few inches always from his. His expression was a little bit more relaxed, but he was wide eyed. You could feel his breathe you were that close. "Is that good enough for you?" You said whispering to him, smiling. He started blushing insanely. He pursed his lips. "Yeah whatever.." He looked down embarrassed, and trying to hide his blush. You laughed a little and took a small step backwards. "Are you done being so paranoid?" You said. He kicked a pebble, then looked at you. "Not yet. But thanks for that anyway." He said softly. He did a fake smile, you could tell, and looked to the side. It seemed something was up.. But you couldn't put your finger on it.

You tried not to think about it right now. "Well, I'm kinda bored.. Do you know where the rest of the group is?" He looked at you then shrugged, but didn't say anything. You looked at him slightly confused. "Well.. do you wanna go look?" Right after you said that he stretched and yawned, then slouched. "Damn I just got tired all of a sudden.." He said rubbing a eye. "Well, do you wanna go to b-"

"NO." He shouted. You jumped a little. He put his hands in his pockets, trying to stand up straighter. "I mean.. I'll be fine." He said sighing and looking down. You took a slight gulp, you don't wanna make him more stressed than he already is. Now that you realize it, he does have darker circles under his eyes. "Max.. Have you even gotten sleep recently?" His eyes opened a little bit, now avoiding eye contact. "Well..."

"Well?"

He finally looks at you, right in your eyes. The eye contact made you feel slightly uncomfortable. He then looked slightly angry. "Why do you think I drink coffee? I just ran out. That's all." He snarled. You felt in your gut that there was more. "You sure.. That's all?"

Then he looked even more angry, but dropped it from a irritated sigh. "I don't get much sleep anymore.." He said looking at you still. Then curiosity got to you again. "Why?" You said starting to get slightly worried. "God I was hoping you wouldn't say that..." He mumbled, then he continues. "I've just been getting a lot of.. Nightmares.. recently." He said almost embarrassed. "About what?"

"How about you mind your own goddamn business?" He said getting in your face. You slightly leaned back. "Max.. I-"

"No, shut up, you always ask to many goddamn questions! You seem you think you can always help others! Or especially me! God you think you should know everything, don't you think it gets annoying to me? You get on my nerves, is that something you want to know?! You are such a idiotic freak!" He shouted. You were just in shock.

He looked to your posture, then back at your face. It seemed his eyes started watering. "Just leave me alone." He whipped his eyes with his hoodie and stomped away. You weren't gonna cry, even if it felt like you easily could. You just.. stood there. After probably around a minute. You started walking, you were most likely going to the lake, it was your favorite place at this camp. While you were walking, some off your friends said hi, but you ignored all of it.

When you got there you went to the dock and hanged your feet over the ledge. The sun seemed like it was about to set in about the next hour. The water is still the same color as it always is. The trees is still the same as it always is. You sighed and stared out to the water. You started thinking. Am I that annoying?? A tear went down your eye without control. You weren't exactly sad. But you weren't obviously happy either.

"Hey Y/n?"

You turn around and saw Harrison. "Uh.. Hey." You said with very to little emotion. You whipped the tear from your face hoping he didn't see it. "I saw you were sad. Now... I don't know really how to comfort people.. uh, but! I made a quick performance for you!" He said trying to stay confident. You nod and slightly smiled.

He smiles and takes off his hat and shows you the inside. "There's nothing in it right?" You look inside. "Um, yeah?" He then taps the hat with his finger and slightly shakes it. He then sets the hat on the ground. You look confused at it for a second. Until a bunny hopped out of it. It was on it's two legs and it was holding chocolates in it's paws. All you did was laugh, it was adorable. It hopped over to you, still on it's two legs. Then it started eating the chocolate. Harrison face palmed. He sighed. "Bunny that wasn't for you! It was for her!" He said. Then the bunny hopped away into the woods. All you did was laugh even more.

"Sorry about that.. I messed it up." He said rubbing his arm embarrassed. You look at him. "No no, I liked it! The bunny was adorable! Probably gonna get sick from the chocolate." You said laughing a little. He smiled from your response. "Oh, well, that's good! Did it make you feel better at all?" You nodded trying to smile brightly. You still felt hurt of what Max said of course, but it's nice to see people care. You would think Harrison, of more of a brother. Only if Max would believe that you don't like like him. You sighed thinking about it. "Well, if you don't mind be asking what happened?" Harrison saying interrupting your thoughts.

"Meh.. Just.. Got in a fight." You said trying not to care that much. "Oh.. That sucks." He replied. You thought he was gonna ask who you got in a fight with, but your glad he didn't. "Is there anything else I could help you with at least?" You shook your head. "Nah, don't worry." He did a slight nod and walked away. When he was gone, you put your knees to you chest and wrapped your arms around them. Then dug your face in your knees until you were sent to your tent.

So this is a lot sadder then I was thinking it was gonna be XD
