Father

It was the next day, you felt so much better. Less depressed, more hope, and your heart is full of love. When you sat up in your tent, you looked at your watch. 7:00am.. Wow, that's early. But you weren't tired enough to fall back to sleep. You shrugged it off and got ready.

The outfit today, was a gray thin hoodie, and underneath was some fanart of your favorite fandom. (Other than camp camp XD) then you just wore some comfy soft shorts. You got your hair how you wanted it then went out of your tent. The grass was slightly wet, and the air was a little chilly. You breathed in through your nose, then out of your mouth and smiled. Wonder if anyone is up yet.. You looked left, then right, then shrugged. Might as well find out. Then you started walking towards Max's tent. Just gonna check, y'know.

When you got to his tent, you poked your head in. Damn it, he was sleeping. You look at him, he was pretty spread out, hogging his own bed. And he had his yellow shirt on. You smiled without control and blushed. "Cutie.." you whispered. You slightly backed up until he grabbed your arm and pulled you down. You hit your side on the mattress, so you were facing him, and he was facing you. He opened his eyes and grinned. "Morning to you to stalker."

"Damnit Max every time.." you said looking to the side a little embarrassed. He slightly chuckled. You just softly smiled and stared at him in awe. You could watch him all day. You two just stared in each other's eyes for a few seconds. Seeking out the details and pattern in the color of his eyes. Then you blinked a few times and snapped out of it. "I uh.. I'll let you get ready.." You sat up. Then he pulled you down, again. But you weren't facing him this time. He wrapped his arm around you and pulled you close, nuzzling into your neck. "Nah, you don't need to go anywhere." You could feel his warm breathe on your neck that made you slightly shiver through your spine.

"B-but I-"

"Dammit y/n let me love you while I'm half awake." Your face went hot. But you then accepted and snuggled back. It was warm and soft. You could honestly feel him happily smile. Your heart was beating so fast, you could feel it through your chest. You've never really.. Let's say, 'snuggled' before. So you felt pretty awkward. You were fiddling with your fingers and moving your toes a little bit. You heard Max sigh. "Y/n, re-lax. Your not embarrassing yourself you weirdo." You sighed and released your tenseness. He rubbed his hand down to your hip, and up to your shoulder which made you squeak a little. He quietly laughed. Then soon, you both feel asleep.

"Hellooooo Max!" You could hear David pop his head into the tent which startled you. "LUIGI!" You yelled falling off the bed. (Whenever I get startled I yell Luigi lmao) Max sat up rubbing his eyes, then looked at David. "What the hell do you want?" Max said barely awake. You sat up from the ground and rubbed your head. David looked at Max, then looked at you, then looked at Max again, then a smile crept on his face. Max's eyes widened. "David don't you dare-"

"I FEEL LOVEEEEE IN THE AIRRRR~" David said cheerfully. Max face palmed which honestly made you giggle a little. David laughed. Max looked insanely embarrassed. He was blushing insanely and wouldn't look at David. "Aw Max, no need to feel embarrassed. Everyone has their own little crush!" David said in his happy voice. Somehow Max blushed even more. Which made you start laughing full on. You weren't honestly embarrassed, if it was some of the campers, then you would probably be embarrassed. "Screw you." Max said crossing his arms. "Well, I'll let you guys get ready. But I also wanted to tell you, the camp dance is tonight!" He said with stars in his eyes. Your eyes widened. "Why didn't we know before??"

David sighs. "We've been telling you for days! And there's flyers everywhere!" You scratched the back of your neck. "..Oh."

"Well I'll let you two get ready! Come out and eat when your done!" He then walked out. Then questions started going to your head. What am I gonna wear?? I can't even dance! What the hell am I supposed to do? You got snapped out of your thoughts. When Max was standing in front of you with his hoodie on now, holding out his hand. "C'mon moron, lets eat." He said grinning. You rolled your eyes and smiled. "Alright asshole." Then you grabbed his hand and he helped you up. But guess what, neither of you let go of each other's hands.

When you got to the mess hall Max let go and opened the door. You both got your food, sat in your spots and started eating. Halfway through, Nikki said something."Where were you guys? I didn't even see y/n in her tent!" Neil rolled his eyes and rose a eyebrow. "Nikki you idiot, did you check Max's?" She thought for a second and tapped her chin. "Ohhhh, what were you doing in there?" Nikki said facing you. You blushed and choked on your words. "Well.. I-I.."

Neil's face dropped and his eyes widened. "Wait... wait wait wait wait wait! Did you two..." Max and you blushed. "NO." You both said in unison. Neil just crossed his arms. "For gods sake Neil.." Max said face palming. All Neil did was laugh, then it took a second for Nikki to get it. "Ohhhhh so you had-" You quickly put your hand over her mouth. "Nikki, no." She then licked you hand and you quickly moved your hand. You groaned and wiped your hand on her clothes. Then Neil, Max, and Nikki were all laughing. You rolled your eyes.

After you all finished breakfast, you went to your tent and practiced the play that's coming up. You do have to kiss someone in it, and your pretty sure it's Max so you didn't care that much. The play was cheesy, you did like it though. Then you heard someone go in front of your tent. You poked your head out and saw the QM with a box in his hands, hook?? "Uh.. Yeah?"

"Package." He mumbled. Then he just dropped it and walked away. You looked at it confused. Your mom wouldn't bring anything. She's not thoughtful at all. And your dad doesn't even know your here. You had to stay with your mean mom this summer. And since she pretty much hates you, she sent you here. You really missed your dad, he was nice, but slightly depressed.

You ripped the tape with your nail. Doing it fast from your curiosity. When you opened it, it was just a piece of paper, that looked like a form of some sort. You picked it up and read through it. You gasped. Your dad.... is in.. jail..? You kept reading

Mr. L/n ran two red lights, and ran over five people that are very injured, one killed. He was drunk driving and will be in prison for fifteen to twenty years.

How.. What? He doesn't drink that often anymore.. In matter of fact he doesn't drink at all anymore.. You again, kept reading.

He kept saying there was a tall guy with blonde hair that set him up. That he gave him the drink. He also says he doesn't remember any of it. But there was no evidence seen, so we had to press charges.
