It Began With A Song

If You Want The Truth...

                                                                             (Kim's POV

Lucinda and I got to the roof and we talked about things like where we thought Aphmau and Aaron went before they got back today, and how we think the whole Zane and Kawaii~chan thing was going. We laughed for a while and then I went silent. On the beach in front of the house Garroth had sat down, the wind blowing in his hair.

        "Kim, are you ok? You just started blushing!" She said, she followed my gaze and saw that I was looking at Garroth, I knew she wanted to know if I liked him, but she was trying to probe me into saying it, "So, Kim, have you had a, I don't know, crush sense High School? I realized recently that you have been getting annoyed at Ghost obsessing over Zane, almost like you don't want someone to think you like Zane!"

       "Lucinda! You don't have to try to get it out of me, that's actually what I wanted to talk about..." I said, just as I saw  a girl sneak out of the bushes near the beach, she was the girl that I saw before I fainted earlier! She snuck up behind Garroth and covered his eyes, I could see that she was saying something, and without uncovering his eyes, she leaned over and kissed him, he blushed and said something back. That was all I needed to see I ran back into the house, without  seeing what happened next.

        "Kim! Wait!"

                                                                              (Garroth's POV)

I was thinking about how to tell the girl I liked that I liked her when someone snuck up behind me and covered my eyes, "Guess who?!" said Kim's voice.

          " Umm, KIM!" I said, maybe I should ask her...

         "Yup! Garroth! I need to tell you something..." she said, something about her voice seemed... off. Did she over pronounce the vowels in my name? "Garroth.. I-I... I love you!" She said, and without uncovering my eyes she kissed me, I had been feeling the same way to I reacted by kissing back. 

I blushed and said, "I've been feeling the same way about you Kimmie!" I smiled and blushed. Suddenly her hands pulled back from my face.

          "Kimmie? That's weird!" Said, Ivy!? I turned around and sure enough instead of Kim being there, it was Ivy, looking at me desperately. She turned and looked at the house and looked back "Oh! I mean really?! Garroth I didn't know you liked me so much! I mean we were a thing in High School and then now you still like me! All I can say is of course I'll be your girlfriend!" She said, she kissed me again and this time stood to the side, so I could see Kim's face, covered in tears.

          "Wait! Kim!" I yelled after her, "Look what you made me do Ivy! You knew I cared about her, and you knew she would be out here!" I stood up and started to walk away, "Now, leave me and Kim alone, for good." I ran after Kim, she was fast, faster than I remembered, eventually I got lost on the island. I pulled out my phone and called Kim.

 The phone rang until the voicemail instructions came up 'I'm sorry the old Kim can't come to the phone right now. Why? Oh! Because she's dead'

I texted her instead, she obviously didn't want to talk, to hear my voice but maybe she would talk over text. (K = Kim and G = Garroth)

G; Kim?

K:...

G:Kim? Please, I didn't know it was her until she messed up. Please I want to talk.

K: I'm sorry Garroth but, if you're happy with her that's fine! It's not like I have much more time left. Definitely not enough for a relationship.

G: What do you mean?

K: The necklace broke, Ghost is taking control, I hardly have enough strength to write this. If you want to see me again, before I disappear forever, meet me at the place where Aphmau and Aaron met again, I'll keep Ghost there for as long as I can, but I can feel my grasp on life slipping away, please hurry...

G: Don't worry I'll be there soon.

G:Kim?

Time skip; when Garroth gets to the beach

G: Kim where are you? Please?

K: Follow the song that you heard when we first met.

G: what song? We met in the school hallway.

K: No we didn't, come find me, time is running out, listen to the sound of the Symphony.

G: Kim! You're making no sense! Please! Where are you?
