Ashley was pacing across the hall way after class and thought about what had just happened with Bella.
"Should I go to Starbucks?"she said to herself.
She would be cutting Chloe and Katy off,but at the same time she was making friends with the most popular girls at school. Sure Bella was a little rude but as long as she was popular she could deal with it.
Ashley ran off to tell Katy and Chloe she wouldn't be able to hang out with them after school when suddenly she past two girls crying in the hall way next to a locker.
Ashley made her way towards them when she realized it was Chloe crying and Katy was comforting her.she walked up to them and said
"What happened guys?"
"Chloe just got her first bullying experience in high school "said Katy
"Oh no!are you all right?"said Ashley in a worried voice
Chloe shook her head as Ashley saw her face which was red from crying.
Ashley grabbed Chloe by the shoulders and turned her around and said
"You listen to me Chloe. You give me the name of this bully and I will show her what she gets for messing with my friends!"
A small smile crept up Chloe's face at her friends determination.
"So shall we go get a snack?"piped up Katy
Ashley was about to tell her friends that she couldn't go when suddenly both girls stared behind Ashley.
Ashley instantly knew that Chloe's bully was behind her.she was about to turn around and give this bully a piece of her mind when she saw Bella .
How did she not see this coming? Obviously the popular kids were usually the bullies
Katy pulled Ashley's hand as a sign that it was time to go but Ashley said in a small voice
"Umm,I can't go with you guys "
"Why?"
"Because I have homework " lied Ashley as she walked away.
"I"ll see you tomorrow "
"Ok"
Ashley hated lying to her friends but she knew if she told them the truth, they would get mad since she had friended Bella the bully.
Ashley walked away feeling that this would not be the last lie she told.....
