Chapter 10

**the next day**
ALEX'S POV:
So It's Wednesday today and I feel like this week is going wayyy too slow. But I also feel like my relationship with Ethan happened wayyy too fast. I mean two days ago Ethan and his friends made fun of me, gray and I went on a date that same day, and we let go of each other just yesterday. If you haven't noticed, my feelings are all mixed up. I decided to get out of my thoughts and get up from bed. I took a quick shower and dressed my self. I decided to just put on a band tee and some black ripped jeans. I walked to school as quickly as I could so that I wouldn't run into the twins just yet.
"Hey Alex!"
I could hear Ethan from a distance. I turned around to see Ethan waving and Grayson smiling. But his smile faded away and he put his head down. I can tell he's hurt.
"Hey guys!" I waved back and walked away. *riiiiiiiiing riiing* I just realized I have first period with Ethan. I totally forgot. I don't know how I'm gonna tell him that I actually ended up leaving gray for him. I walked into class and sat in my usual seat.
"Hey, why'd you walk away from us this morning Alex?"
"I'm sorry it's just, I left gray for you and I thought things were gonna get awkward so-" Ethan interrupted my sentence.
"Please don't think it'll be awkward. Gray agreed to this so there shouldn't be any reason." Although gray DID agree to this, it still isn't right.
"So I was thinking, we never did that pizza and movie date at your place like we planned to."
"Soooo...." I knew where he was going with this.
"Sooo, I thought we could do it tonight." He smiled and I just couldn't resist.
"Sure." We spent the rest of class talking and getting to know each other more since we had a substitute and she could care less about our education.
*lunch*
It's times for lunch and Ethan and I decided to sit together.

ETHAN'S POV:
Alex and I planned to hang out during lunch together. So that's where I'm headed.
"Hey Ethan." It was gray.
"Hey bro."
"Where are you going dude, our tables over here?"
"Um I'm hanging out with Alex today and she doesn't have the greatest history with jack and Aaron so.."
"Yeah...so is this gonna be permanent?"

GRAYSON'S POV:
I really hope Ethan and Alex don't work out. I want her. But I can't have her. I can't kiss her or tell her how much I love her. And it sucks. A lot.
"Yeah...so is this gonna be permanent?"
"Listen gray, it's all up to Alex. I'm really sorry bro, you know I love you but I love Alex too." Is it bad that I want to slap him?
"Whatever, later dude." I walked towards the table that Aaron and Jack were sitting at.
"What's up with Ethan? Isn't he gonna sit with us?" Jack says.
"Nope. He's hanging out with Alex."
"Wait hold up, I thought-" I interrupted Aaron.
"Actually, he does like Alex, he didn't mean anything he said."
"So then why'd he say it? I mean if he actually liked her, he wouldn't go to the extreme of hurting her. Or even...letting us hurt her." I'm surprised by what jack had said. And I agree.
"Jack are you turning soft??" I said as I tilted my head and smiled.
"Shut the fuck up." We all laughed and continued with our conversations.

ALEX'S POV:
I sat with Ethan during lunch and we mostly just talked and laughed. But everyone was looking at us. I could hear people from different tables whispering things like "wasn't she JUST with Grayson yesterday?" And "how does Grayson  feel about this." Even things like, "damn she's a slut." 
I hate it. And I honestly don't know what to do to please everyone.
***after school***
I have that date with Ethan tonight at my house. And since it's only my little brother and I (y'all remember her parents work late) I decided to let him join with us. But only if this got awkward between Ethan and I. At this point, I could care less if I look cute or not. I'm so done with everything. So I decided to put my hair up in a bun and changed into a hoodie and shorts
***buzz*** Hailey was calling.
"What's up hailey?"
"Im really bored, do you wanna hang out?"
"I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you."
"Tell me what?"
"That I'm hanging out with Ethan tonight."
"I thought you were gonna stay with Grayson?"
"I don't know. But I'm with Ethan now."
"Wait wait hold the fuck up, I thought you were giving him a chance to be friends?"
"No..."
"Damn Alex, that's being fucked up to Grayson."
"WELL I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO HAILEY! SO MANY PEOPLE ARE TALKING SHIT BUT THEY DONT KNOW THE WHOLE STORY. YOU do.-" I started calming down. "- I thought you'd support me through this."
"Alex I-"
"Bye." I can't believe I just hung up on my one true friend. she's gonna hate me. But now I have no friends. Everyone at school hates me. Except my two loud neighbors.

I got a movie set up on my tv. Five minutes later, Ethan showed up at my door with a pizza and candy.
"Oh my god Ethan!" I grabbed the pizza inside and let him in.
"At first, I thought this was way to much food but then I remembered I was sharing this with the great "Alexandra" "
"Are you calling me fat?"
"Oh umm not at all!" I could tell he regrets saying that.
"Chill eth,haha"
"So we're watching paper towns?"
"Yup." I said popping the P
"I've heard it's a funny movie."
"IT IS." I laid everything out on the small table we had next to the couch. I turned off the lights and a few minutes later, I was in Ethan's arms.
"You know I love you. Right?" I don't know what it was but, part of me was happy. The other half...wasn't.
*** during the movie ***
Ethan and I were basically making out through out the movie.
"I - love - you." He said partly chopped mid kisses.
"I love you to gr----ant." I stopped before I could say anymore. I knew what I was about to blurt out. But I made up for it. I really love the kid. My emotions are just mixed. I'll get over it. Hopefully....
*** movie ended ***
Tonight was great. We made out. But that's it. And I'm fine with that. I walked Ethan out the house as I had I throw out the cardboard pizza box.
"Sorry about those marks on your neck."
"It's fine. Just shows how much we love each other." Ethan said with a huge smile on his face.
"I'll see you tomorrow Alex." We kissed And with that he made his way home and I made my way inside.

ETHAN'S POV:
I like Alex and I'm really happy. I went inside to see Grayson on the couch watching tv.
"What's up bro" Grayson looks at me furrowing his eyebrows.
"What's on your neck?" He says seriously
"Nothing mom." He got up and looked closely on to my neck.
"Ethan!"
"Whaaaat?"
He scoffs and walks away. "Nothing. Goodnight bro."
"Later." I say as I sit down and Channel surf.

GRAYSONS POV:
I'm really upset. I hate seeing Alex and my twin brother together. And the fact that they're falling in love with each other more and more every minute of the day, gets to me. But it's only been a day. So we'll see how this heads out to be. I decided to text Alex. We may not be together but that doesn't mean we can't be friends.
Gray: hey Alex :)
Alexandra: hey Grayson!
Gray: how was tonight?
Alexandra: typing.....
That's Weird. The three dots went away.
Alexandra: it was great :)
Gray: oh.
Alexandra: listen grayson, I know I said it would be temporary. But part of me wants to keep trying.
Gray: it's fine.
Alexandra: thank you so much. I'm sorry. Goodnight though.
Gray: stop apologizing! Goodnight.
Alexandra: okay okay. Goodnight haha.
Gray: 😴😴
And with that, I fell asleep.

ALEXANDRAS POV:
Gray: how was tonight?
Alexandra: i don't know. I love Ethan. But I love you too. And it's wrong of me to say or feel that. So I don't know. My feelings are all messed up.
Am I stupid? I can't say that. I have to stay with Ethan. I love him, I can't let him go. I have to get over gray.
Alexandra: it was great :)
We continued our conversation and left it at our "goodnight" messages.

Sorry I took so long to update. I had writers block 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I have a drafted chapter so I have to finish that one and will be uploading soon ;)
