After the incident with Gahyeon, Yoohyeon has kept close to Siyeon, but no matter what she never wanted Siyeon to know that Gahyeon was here. Every day at school Yoohyeon would keep a close eye on Siyeon and Gahyeon, though if she were to be honest every time the two were close together she felt as if her stomach had died and started to rot.
“Yoohyeon, are you sure you're ok? You still look sick from last time.” Dami asked looking at Yoohyeon
Yoohyeon nodded and smiled despite her pale face showing otherwise. Dami squinted her eyes at Yoohyeon trying to make the girl say the truth.
“Dami, I swear I'm fine. If I were to be extreme sick I will be sent home or just stay there and ask you to take Siyeon to school,” Yoohyeon reassured.
Dami decided to let her friend off this time as she noticed Siyeon coming towards them with more books in her arms.
“What books have you gotten now?" Yoohyeon asked.
“Well, I don't know the authors, but there was one about these high school detectives and one old book something about supernatural stuff.”
“There's such thing in the library? I thought they were supposed to be educational and not fun,” Yoohyeon joked.
From the corner of her eyes she noticed Gahyeon coming in her direction, but speaking to a taller boy. Yoohyeon looked around trying to find a place to escape, but they were stuck waiting for their teacher to come. Yoohyeon looked at Siyeon trying not to panic and put her hoodie on pulling the strings to the hoodie, and placing her headphones over her head. Yoohyeon placed herself in front of Siyeon leaning over her.
Siyeon looked at Yoohyeon confused and noticed how close she was leaning as she looked back at Gahyeon. She gulped down noticing how close they were.
“Yoohyeon? What're you doing?” She asked shyly.
Yoohyeon placed her finger over her lips as she looked at Gahyeon pass by, oblivious to notice her own sister. Once she was finally gone she untied the strings to the hoodie, but kept her sweater on.
“What was that for?”
“Uh, I was playing hide-and-seek with JiU, but we made a bet she couldn't find you,” Said Yoohyeon.
“Oh? What about the headphones?”
“I uh... I wanted to show you modernized rock music. I don't think I ever told you about it.”
Siyeon shook her head as she stared at Yoohyeon. She took out her phone going to her music playlist. Her eyes scanned the playlist till she reached a perfect song. Once the music started to play Siyeon concentrated on the music and smiled.
“Wow, I never heard rock before. My father never let me listen to rock music back then, but this is interesting!” She happily said.
“Yeah? I'm glad you like them.” Yoohyeon smiled at her friend.
“Who is this by?” Siyeon asked.
“Ah, it's One ok Rock. They're a Japanese band and I thought why not show you,” Said Yoohyeon.
Dami looked at her friend again with a doubting look. Yoohyeon just smiled at Dami, going along with her lie. Once the teacher finally arrived the girls sat down, but only Siyeon paid attention to the lecture. From the corner of Dami's eyes she noticed Yoohyeon looking weaker by the minute. Her face was naturally pale, but she practically looked like a dead person at this point. Her eyes always dropped down to fall asleep, but never in such a hurried state to fall asleep.
The younger girl ripped a piece of her notebook paper and wrote down a message. She slowly slid it to Yoohyeon's hand catching her attention. Yoohyeon looked at Dami confused, but still opened the note.
