*Mila's POV*
Jungkook and I leave Yoongi's room and head downstairs. "What was that about," Jungkook asks. "Nothing," I say," Just forget it." I can tell that he is trying to figure out what happened, but I don't care at the moment. "Jin oppa! We're going now," I yell. "Hang on," Jin yells back and comes running out of the kitchen.
He gets to us and hugs me tightly. "Be careful okay? Both of you," he says and I nod. "Keep her safe Kook," Jin tells Jungkook sternly. "Ne hyung," he replies. "We should be back in about an hour," I say," Maybe a little longer." "Okay," Jin says and hugs me one last time.
"We should go," Jungkook says," It's 5:10." "Yeah, okay," I agree," Bye oppa." I wave and leave the house with Jungkook. The sky is covered in dark clouds and it looks it might rain, but we ignore it. As we walk, Yoongi's words replay in my head. "I need you to be strong." I know he's right. I can't go in there like that, especially if Rick might be there. We get to the house quickly and I don't see Rick's car anywhere, so I assume that they are gone.
"No one is here for right now," I say and turn to Jungkook. "Okay. Let's go inside," he says and starts towards the gate, but I stand infront of him to stop him. "Wait! Jungkook, please be careful," I say.
"Yeah yeah."
"I'm serious. If they come back while we are still here, they will most likely be drunk. And if you think they are bad sober, then you don't want to see either of them when they have little to no self control. Especially Rick. He's easily ticked off when he's drunk."
"Alright. I'll be careful."
"Promise to stay safe?"
"Yes, I promise. Can we get this over with now?"
"Okay. Now we can go inside."
We walk through the gate and I unlock the front door. I close it behind us and lock it again before telling Jungkook to follow me. We walk through the house without turning on any of the lights and the dusty, wooden floors creak under our feet. We walk to my room that's in the back of the house and I freeze when we walk inside.
Everything that's happened the last few months flashes in my mind since most of it happened in this room. All of the yelling and the beatings I got for the smallest things. All of the nights I spent cleaning blood off the floors and sitting in my bed crying, wishing it would all be over soon. All of the times I hid in here to get away from Rick. It all hits me like a ton of bricks.
My breathing speeds up and I'm beginning to get suffocated by my own breathe. Panic rises inside of me as it all floods into my mind until Jungkook says something that brings me back to the here and now. "Hey! We're supposed to be fast about this, remember?" I turn to Jungkook and nod slowly.
"Right. Fast," I mumble and start to walk to my closet. "Gwenchana," Jungkook asks as he notices my condition and I nod again as I try to slow my breathing back to a normal pace. I get my suitcase and start to pack my clothes and shoes since those are the only things I really needed.
Calm down Mila, it's over now. Get your things and go back to the guys. I tell this to myself over and over and soon I start to calm down. I finish packing and I regain control of my breathing. I've calmed down enough and I turn to Jungkook. "Alright. That's everything," I say. "You sure," he asks. "Yeah. Now come on," I tell him," I want to get out of here." I carry my suitcase and he nods. "Let's go then," he says.
We leave my room and quickly make our way to the front door. "At least they didn't come home," Jungkook says as I open the front door. I freeze in place again and curse under my breath. "You spoke too soon," I tell Jungkook and he follows my line of sight. "Oh shit."
