I'd like to apologize in advance for any cringing that might occur in this chapter.

*Mila's POV*

I turn and start walking to the door. I feel hurt and kind of irritated as I walk away. I'm worried about him being mad and I'm trying to help, but he just wants to be rude and tell me to leave. Even so, it hurts because we've been doing so good. Yeah, he gets mad sometimes, but usually he just says he's fine when I ask him what's wrong. He hasn't snapped at me weeks, so I'm not used to it like I was before.

I get to the door and I'm about to leave the room, but the door suddenly closes before I can walk out. I turn around and see Jungkook standing behind me, his hand on the door from closing it. We are really close right now, but I ignore it and keep my eyes on the ground.

"Open the door," I say. "No," he says. "I'm not kidding Jungkook. Let me out," I tell him. "No. Mila look at me," he says. "No," I refuse," Move so I can go." "Look at me," he tells me. "No. You told me to go, so that's what I'm doing," I reply,  slightly irritated. "Then I take it back," he says and I scoff. "I don't get you," I say quietly. "What do you mean," he asks. "One minute you're fine and asking me to go on a walk, the next your pissed and rude because I'm trying to help. You tell me to leave, but then you want me to stay. You're always changing your mind like that and it's giving me whiplash," I say.

I'm not really upset anymore, just hurt and confused and it comes through in my voice. For a few seconds, everything is quiet and still, but then Jungkook's hand leaves the door and it goes to my waist instead. He lifts my chin up slowly with his other hand, but I'm still not looking at him. "Mi," he says softly," Look at me." I finally look up at him and he doesn't look irritated like he was earlier. His expression is one of adoration.

Our eyes meet and his dark, brown orbs gaze into my own. I can see all of the unspoken emotions swimming in his eyes as he looks at me. There is even less space between us than before and my breathing gets a little heavier. My heart is pounding so hard and fast that I'm sure it'll beat right out of chest and I feel like in entire zoo is running wild in my stomach.

He brushes a strand of hair from my face and tucks it behind my ear before cupping my face. I shiver at his touch, but he just smiles at me a little. The next thing I know, the gap is closed and his lips are pressed against my own. My eyes go wide due to surprise, but soon they close and I kiss him back.

I place my hands on his shoulders and I feel him smile into the kiss as he gently pulls me closer, reducing the distance between us to nothing. His kisses are soft and gentle and they are making me melt. A minute or so later, he pulls away, but there is still the lingering feeling of his lips on mine.

"I'm sorry," he says so quietly it could almost a whisper," I'm sorry that I pushed you away before and hurt you because I was too scared to let you in. I'm sorry that I snapped at you because I was upset and made you feel like you were getting whiplash. And I'm sorry I told you to leave. I don't want you to."

"It's okay," I say," Being scared makes us do things without thinking. Things that we might regret later. But it's okay because when you realize your mistake and try to make amends, it proves that you're sorry. So don't worry about it."

He looks at me and smiles at my words.

"Mila, I have to tell you something. Even if it might be pretty obvious already," he says. "What is it," I ask. "I don't want to be your friend anymore. It's been amazing spending these last few weeks with you, but I don't want to be your friend," he says and I tilt my head to the side a bit. I'm not usually oblivious like this, but I am right now.
