"Umm hey Asta! This flying stuff is nice and all but shouldn't we be heading back to Berk? It's starting to get dark".

"Eydis, Eydis. Do you not have a sense of adventure? We're out here to find you a dragon obviously". I blankly stared at Asta's head. Was she serious!? Well I guess this is so typically her. Showing support for me by doing the most dangerous and daring thing she can think of. Not long into our flight, I noticed a light hovering in the sky a ways ahead of us. Following the light were a set of voices. "Move you useless thing! When I hired you I expected you to be able to be efficient! Not some lousy dragon that isn't worth a penny!" Asta and I ducked down lower as DiamondStar flew closer to get a better look. And what we saw terrified us. Another Deadly Nadder was being ridden by a nasty looking Viking who was holding some sort of whip and reigns that were looped around and through the poor Nadder's mouth. He was treating the dragon as if it were some sort of dumb horse whose only purpose was to transport people from place to place. And from the looks of it, this dragon hadn't had a rest in ages. We pulled a bit away from them to be able to talk to each other. "Why! The nerve of that guy!" Asta fumed. I nodded, agreeing with her. "We need to inform Chief Hiccup about this. Let's head-"

"No! We must save that beautiful creature ourself!" Asta interrupted me.

"Asta". I warned, knowing what she was up to. "And besides". She smirked back at me as if knowing she's already won, "even if we go back to tell Chief Hiccup that won't solve anything. We need to figure out where they're going for the information to be of any use at all". She guided DiamondStar towards the two figures in the distance. DiamondStar didn't need to be told twice. Just like her rider, she couldn't forgive such an act. Especially if it was to her own species. "Here we go again" I mumbled quietly as we took off with such speed that I had to hold onto Asta to prevent myself from falling off.

Arriving on a strange island, we stealthily, well as stealthily as we could, snuck after the nasty looking Viking and the Nadder. We watched as he approached a stable and noisily banged on the doors. A sleepy looking boy came out. We couldn't hear much from where we were hiding but the words, 'stable boy', 'cleaned up' and 'fix it up good or else' wafted into our ears. The nasty Viking huffed off and the sleepy eyed stable boy turned to go back inside but not before he hammered a piece of paper onto the door with the words, 'Help Wanted' written on it. Asta looked at me evilly. "No. No! You are not making me-"

"Oh yes I am".
