(Hurricane Harvey does not exist in this story. This story will get even juicier because there will be an unexpected ship coming out of nowhere between *** and a NWSL player. Stay tuned to find out.)

"Can you stop that?" Lydia asks with annoyance in her voice as she looks up from her phone. She stared at Morgan from the couch while the midfielder was sitting across from her, looking anxiously down at her black phone screen on the coffee table.

Moe finally looks up at the Australian, not knowing what she was doing. "Stop what?" she questions a bit dumbfounded.

"That," Lydia points to her leg, "You're agitated movements. If you keep biting your nails, you'll have no more nails to bite! Don't even get me started with your hair."

"I'm sorry, I can't help it," Moe groans, face palming. "I'm kind of on edge right now if you can't tell."

"She's going to understand and support you, trust me," Lydia sits up right and places her phone inside her pocket so she could focus on helping Morgan ease her nervousness.

"Why are you even scared to tell her in the first place? This moment was going to come sooner or later," Lydia reasons.

"Yeah I know but like I didn't expect it to arrive this early! I figured all three of us would have one more season to play together. Just at least one more if I hadn't been injured all this time," Moe responds. "Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely excited to be going to Chicago and play with a team that has an amazing organization and not to mention in playoff contention, but you're going to be headed to Seattle, I'll be in Chicago, while my poor baby will be here in Houston."

"And it's what you've been wanting, so I don't see a problem. Don't feel bad. You and I wanted to a fresh start and now we finally have the chance," Lydia explains for what seemed like the hundredth time again.

"A part of me feels guilty, like she's my girlfriend you know. I'm supposed to be telling her everything that's going on in my life."

"Somethings are meant to stay a secret. I don't think it's all that great if your significant other knows every. single. fact. about you," Lydia burrows her brows. "You are your own person."

"Just the thought of me leaving her makes me want to stay already and I haven't even left yet. I know that if I had talked to her prior about my decision, it's going to be so much harder to leave than it already is. We were literally thinking of getting a house together here in Houston a couple weeks ago and just talking about the topic, made her so excited. You should've seen her face when I brought it up. Of course she's going to want me to stay here," Moe sighs and shakes her head.

"And she will literally do anything and everything for us to stay close together and whatever that thing is, I quickly oblige, without a doubt. No hesitation. She knows that and I hate that I can never bring myself to say no because she's the most amazing human being in my life."

"Well..............ouch," Lydia jokes as she put her hand over her heart. "Dig the knife in deeper will ya?"

Moe couldn't help but chuckle and break out into a smile after the Australian lightened the mood, "You're the worst."

"Let me tell you something my friend and I'm gonna be honest here," Lydia says in a serious tone that made Moe bite her lip.

"If you were really happy with the choice you made today, one that took more than weeks to finalize, you wouldn't be this upset to tell someone the news. You had all the time in the world to change your mind but you know what? You didn't because it's what you really wanted to do deep in your heart and I don't blame you one bit for listening to it. I mean it got to the point where you wanted to be traded so bad, that you told them you were gonna go to Lyon if they weren't going to. I would have done the same thing."
