I was sure Jerome had fallen asleep on his morning adventure, I didn't like the fact that he could be anywhere and we had no idea where. I didn't like that he got out without sleeping and I certainly did NOT like that he was still out almost four hours later. He said he'd be back before breakfast, then he wasn't home yet even though it was far past breakfast.

"Where can he be? He's never out this early in the morning" Mitch's worried voice didn't help the whole situation.

"I have no idea, he said he'd be back before breakfast" Preston replied, looking at his watch.

When the door knocked all three of us rushed there, hoping it would be Jerome who had gotten locked out of the house. As I opened the door I was met by Sofia who were holding up a half asleep Jerome.

"I got Jerome back for you. He don't know who any of you are, I would explain more but I have places to be and people to meet" she said quickly letting Jerome over to my arms.

"What do you mean don't remember us?" Preston asked.

"Like I said, I can't explain. It's a long story, I will get it sorted. Just fill him in on the basics until then" Sofia said before turning around and walking away from the door.

Jerome fell asleep before I had gotten him up all the stairs, I hoped he was alright. I mean, he can't be if he doesn't remember us but still. Maybe Sofia were overreacting, maybe she was joking about it since Jerome was sleeping. But Sofia wasn't the joking type, then again I didn't know that much about her since she woke up from her own death.

When we had put Jerome to bed we closed the door to the room Mitch and Jerome shared.

"How are we supposed to know if she was serious if he's asleep?" Mitch asked as we had reached Preston and Landon's room.

"I don't know, but I trust Sofia on this. She wouldn't make a joke, and even if she would she wouldn't walk away without telling us it was a joke" Landon told us as we all sat down on the two beds.

"But, it doesn't make sense, why would he lose his memory all of a sudden?" Lachlan asked coming into the room and sitting down as well.

"It's time to admit one thing guys" I spoke looking at each of them. "We don't know anything. Sofia came back from the dead and now Jerome lost his memory. Something weird is going on that we don't understand at all" I told them all.

"You ain't kidding on that one mate, this whole thing is like a dream. Why would the brightest of us lose his memory? He was the only one who could've figured something out" Landon agreed with me.

"Maybe that's why he might have lost his memory, they knew he would figure something out that he shouldn't know" Mitch spoke.

"Who is 'they'?" Lachlan questioned.

"No idea, and that's the thing. We don't know a thing" I replied.

"But we know people who do" Landon commented us.

"Who?" Mitch asked, looking confused.

"Josh and Lewis, we all know they know something" Landon reminded us.

"We know stuff too" a small voice suddenly came from the door, we all turned to see both Dan and Mel stood there hand in hand, looking confident.

"What do you know?" Landon asked carefully.

"We know stuff about Sofia. Stuff that you wouldn't believe" Mel replied, both of them taking a step into the room.

"It's very scary" Daniel agreed as Melody closed the door behind them.

"And no one can ever know, that's why we are here" both walked in sync to the window and dragged the curtain down so it was totally dark in the room.

"We won't hurt you, we promise" Melody's voice turned from a child voice to an adult's voice in seconds as she spoke. I froze, that wasn't Melody and Daniel.

"We are here to protect you" suddenly a bright green light was blinding me and I closed my eyes before putting my hands in front of my face to shield my eyes from the blinding light. This couldn't be good...
