Preston and I both agreed to take a walk the day after Jerome's memory got messed up. We thought that being outside might make us more sane again, everything around us was just weird and supernatural and we wanted to get away from it even just for an hour.
When we reached the park we sat down under the big tree, as usual, and began speaking about normal stuff. Like videos and travelling and how our families was, things that would come up in a normal conversation.
"Can you guys get out of the way" a sudden voice asked, I looked up and was met by the same blue eyes that had been in Preston rooms yesterday. I quickly got up and dragged Preston with me away from there. I didn't want to be close to her, not now. We were supposed to get away from these things, not more into it!
I dragged Preston over to a bench a bit away, not listening to his protests. It's not my fault that he didn't see the girl.
"Why did we have to go from there?" Preston complained as I sat down on the bench, still being able to watch what happened around the tree.
"That's the girl from yesterday" I hushed him, not letting my eyes of the area as more and more people came there. Some were dressed in happy colours while others wore mostly dark colours. Some in jeans and some in sweats. It was a diverse group to say the least.
We watched as the girl from yesterday began talking, I didn't hear but that wasn't the important part. I wanted to know if they would do any of that demonic stuff, the scary thing she had done in Preston's room. Three more people then came to the group too, one I recognized as Sofia and another as the guy who brought Landon's memory back.
Not long after Sofia came I realized me and Preston shouldn't be here, we should run while we had the chance. At least that's what I was thinking when Sofia and two guys started to attack the group of people. Having absolutely no mercy. Why did no one else in the park seem to notice this?
"YOU WILL BRING HIS MEMORIES BACK" I heard Sofia roar at the girl from yesterday.
"IT'S FOR EVERYONE'S BEST" the girl called back, her hands suddenly covered in red light.
"You can take his stupid memories of me, I don't care about them Louise. But you can't just take all his memories, he doesn't remember a thing. People will ask questions" Sofia told the girl off.
"And that is perfect proof that Louise no longer know what she is doing, she has been hiding for too long, she no longer know how to use her powers properly. It could destroy our whole reputation" the second guy that Sofia came with spoke to the whole group.
"We need a new leader. Someone who can lead us to greatness instead of making us lose everything" the brunette guy who talked with us yesterday spoke.
"I have done nothing wrong" the girl that we now know as Louise told us.
Suddenly a battle between the group began. First it was words of people who agreed and didn't agree, then people was fighting for real.
"We should probably not be here" Preston told me as we both stared at the group.
"I agree" I replied, but none of us moved. It was like we were enchanted by the fight and couldn't move.
After about half an hour Sofia had Louise in a death grip on the ground, making everyone stop and look at them.
"Give Jerome his memories back and admit your loss" Sofia told the girl struggling under her grip.
"Never!" the girl replied before turning them over. "You will regret this" Louise told Sofia before getting up from her. "Leave now and never come back"
"Give the poor guy his memories back and this could be all over" Sofia motioned around her as she spoke.
"He had memories of us. I only did what I had to do to protect us" she told Sofia angrily.
"You made everyone I know be determined to figure out everything about us to get his memories back. You made us less protected and safe" the blonde guy told Louise.
Then it was all over, everyone seemed to just disappear until it was only Sofia and the people who fought by her side.
"I'll see you tomorrow guys" Sofia told them simply. "That's when we'll start to rule against greatness" she then added.
"You heard her. Power will find us, under this tree at 11AM" the blonde guy spoke.
When Sofia was the only one who was left she turned around and looked straight at us. I froze, she knew we was there?
"Hi guys" she greeted us with a smile.
"Hi" I managed to get out in my shock.
"Did you enjoy the show?" she asked. I didn't know what to say, so I didn't. I just sat quiet. "Don't worry. Everyone is fine. I think. I didn't see any dead bodies anyway" she promised, sitting down between us.
"What was that?" Preston questioned.
"A revolution" Sofia replied. "Don't worry about it, it could put everyone in danger now. Especially the people in the house. Jerome was just the first, you all saw her try to get to Landon too. We are lucky Simon got in when he did" she told us before standing up.
"But why are you doing this if it could put us in danger?" I asked her, confused out of my mind.
"You are in danger even if I don't do this. I'm protecting you, I'm trying protect my family, both of them" she explained. "So keep Landon safe for me" she pleaded before she began walking away, not letting us ask more questions.
"Well, there was our normal day" Preston spoke before getting up aswell. "We should get back before the rest start to worry" he then added.
