Me and the guys were walking down the streets towards Nando's a few blocks away. It wasn't that far, and it was a beautiful day, so we all walked there. Jide and I both holding one of Melody's hands each. I can't believe it had been ten years since we got married and adopted her. It feels like it was yesterday.
As we walked by the graveyard in the area Lachlan stopped and pointed out a grave close to the road.
"Sofia Minter, is that a cousin or something to you Simon?" he asked me, I shook my head.
"Not that I know of" I told him, reading the years. "She died when she was only nineteen" I spoke.
"That's a tragic, I wonder how she died" Landon said, then we all continued walking, all in silence for a bit before we began chatting again. I wondered who she was, but she had been dead for 11 years. That's a long time ago. I was still in my twenties back then, I must have been around 27.
Soon we met up with the rest of the Sidemen, the Cal's, Emily, Freya and Dan.
"Hello guys" Josh greeted us happily, letting go of Freya's hand as he gave us each a hug.
"Great to see you" Preston replied to him before turning to Emily. "When is the baby due?" he asked her, she smiled happily at the mention.
"In a month, I'm so excited" she told him, beaming as she took a Ethan's hand again after hugging Preston. Ethan was shining almost brighter than his wife as they mentioned the baby. They both were so excited. Much like me and Jiggily when we were about to adopt Mel.
