In a violent gust of wind, as an answer to her prayers; a stranger appeared. This stranger was a woman who wore all black, her face was covered by a black hood which she threw off.
"Sorry for interrupting your little get together here, but did you say you wanted to help your friends here?" the stranger asked, startling the group as she was behind them. Her face was a gray color and her eyes were red.
Being the overprotective one of the group, Orion hopped up quickly blocking his friends from the strange looking woman. Quickly examining her, he knew where she had come from. He didn't like it one bit.
"What are you doing here?" he growled, standing his guard in front of the woman.
The woman stepped forward with an antagonized look on her face. Blair looked over Orion's shoulder shocked when she noticed the mysterious woman standing now in front of Orion. The woman caught her gazing at her, a mischievous smirk came over her face.
"Oh relax! I'm not here to hurt anyone. I just overheard your princess say she wanted to help you guys. I thought maybe I could help." she assured, smiling at Orion.
The woman came closer, but Orion wouldn't let her pass. He wouldn't let anyone hurt his friends and if they did they wouldn't like what was coming for them.
"I don't believe you! Now please leave before it..." warned Orion as young Blair pulled him to the side.
"Its okay, Orion. She might know how to help us out of this circumstance. Give her a chance." she whispered, taking a look over her shoulder at the woman.
"Blair...don't even think about it! She's the Queen of the Wicked ones in Nod; she could hurt us with her powers." he said in a worried, shaken voice. "Don't trust her."
The Princess nodded her head, trying to convince him it would be okay. She pressed passed him and walked over to the outsider, she gave her a smile and extended her arm out.
"Hello, I'm Blair. Welcome to Eden, what would you like to discuss?"
The newcomer was fascinated by this welcoming display; she took the young woman's hand and shook it. Blair and the woman sat down with the others, Orion had the children close beside him and Abe was right behind him.
"My goodness what a pleasure to have such a kind introduction. I am Queen Zelda of Nod, as your friend would like to call it. I am here to make a proposition for you, my dear Blair." the woman responded, while Orion stared at her with angry eyes.
The entire group of Diviners were surprised to hear that she was the Queen of Nod. Orion wanted to shout at the woman to leave, knowing how truly vile wicked ones were. Being aware of this, Queen Zelda held her palm out to stop him from saying a word; Blair was the one she was speaking to not to this man.
Blair thought of her words. Should she help someone that a friend didn't trust? Maybe this was the answer to her prayers?
"I really don't know if I should trust you. If I take your offer how can I be so sure if my friends are going to be safe?" she asked, with a slight tremble in her voice. She was somewhat terrified by this woman yet intrigued someone like her would come all this way for an offer.
"Oh, dear. I know it's hard to believe someone you just met, but believe me I will help you. What I'm going to ask of you to do for me though is considered a perilous journey. If you do it though, the payoff will be much more than you can ever imagine and plus your friends can be living the easy life." Queen Zelda explained.
Blair feeling ill-behaved quickly handed her a loaf of bread that was in the bag. She suddenly felt queasy; how was there another loaf of bread in the bag? She had given all the loaves away. The Queen had noticed something uneasy about her.
