"Ha! I knew it!" Erin laughed, pointing at her magic crystal in her hand. "You have such a kind heart, dear little Blair."
Eden was still beautiful as ever, nobody had noticed the princess had been gone for a night. Erin flaunted around her throne room, imagining her ugly daughter being burned alive by the man she cared about.
"Blair, you may think Halford is getting close to you. When he finds out what you really are, he will kill you. I really hope he does!"
Dancing around her room, two figures appeared in a long mirror. It was Halford's deceased parents, she was startled to see them both at the same time.
"You are an evil and vain woman. I can't believe Blair's your daughter! Cydonius would be so ashamed of you for saying that!" Queen Zelda shouted, giving the Queen an angry look.
Erin blew them off, but they kept on speaking with her.
"What kind of woman wants her own daughter dead? Don't you remember back in the times of peace?" Queen Zelda's husband, Draiman spat pointing out toward the Queen.
"The woman who is ruler of all things beautiful that's who. Times of peace? You mean when my husband left me because, I was being cruel to the little wench!" she shouted, walking over to the mirror. "I still hate him for that!"
King Draiman shook his head in disbelief. What was so ugly about a girl who would sacrifice herself for the people she loved?
"King Cydonius was the best man you could've ever had! He was my best friend, you pushed him away!" King Draiman appeared in her hand mirror.
Queen Erin threw her hand mirror to the floor and watched the pieces scatter. She would not have it being judged by two spirits!
"Yes, Blair was quite fond of her father. It's a shame he left her, I wonder why he do such a selfish thing?"
Zelda watched the Queen in pure hate. Blair was the young girl, who would save her land and hopefully her son would make peace with her kind. She even wished he'd marry her.
"Your husband was a kind and honest king! He had to leave because, you are so evil! You wouldn't allow him to take Blair remember that?" Queen Zelda brought up as she appeared in the glass bowl beside the Queen.
Queen Erin could no longer take it. She took her leave and went to her small town to watch her people. They were something much better to watch and it got her mind off her daughter.
She went to a friend who happened to be a witch. The witch was living in town now for the forest was too dangerous to sell any of her potions. The Queen sat with her friend asking a simple question.
"I want you to show me where my husband is. If he's still alive somewhere." she said, handing the witch a bag of silver coins.
The witch like everyone else was very beautiful. She smirked at the Queen and took the satchel of coins and put them away in her drawer.
"Are you sure you want to do that, Erin? What if you don't like what you see?" the witch said in a smooth tone.
"I want to know if that bum is alive still!" she shouted, throwing her fist hard down on the rickety, old table. "Now show me!"
The witch was startled, she rapidly began to mix ingredients together in a large cauldron pot. The liquid inside the pot bubbled and swirled around. Queen Erin waiting for something to happen, the witch said some words and someone started to appear in the water.
Queen Erin and the witch were both shocked by who appeared in the pot.
"No way, that can't be him." Erin was utterly flabbergasted at the man she saw.
"Remember what I said, Erin? You might not like what you see?"
Inside was the blurry image of a man clothed in rags, sitting beside his daughter at the bar.
It was Orion.
"He was disguised as one of her dirty homeless friends? What kind of King would do such a dumb thing?" Queen Erin exclaimed, her face red with unmitigated anger.
The witch examined her room and shook her head. She laughed at the Queen, even she thought it was disgraceful how she acted toward her daughter.
"A man's love for his daughter can make him do crazy things." the witch interpreted. "I wonder if she even knows."
Queen Erin glared down at the happy, disheveled man enjoying the presence of his daughter. She smiled evilly as a thought traced her mind.
I'll make sure she makes her decision!
"Rachel will you make me a strong poison?"
Rachel, the witch friend was appalled by the Queen's request. Queen Erin was a pernicious woman, who wanted nothing but to desecrate her one and only daughter.
"Yes, I can Erin, but I really think you should re-evaluate your plans. She's your only daughter, you shouldn't agree with the others of how they think she looks." Rachel coaxed, as she stared into the the pot.
The Queen rolled her eyes at the witch and demanded loudly.
"You listen to me, witch! I'm the queen and I demand you to give me a poison now!" her voice apoplectic as she forced her head near the pot.
"Okay! I'll give it to you. Just remember what I said and don't blame me if anything bad happens!"
Erin stood with her arms crossed at her chest, in a irascible manner. The witch precisely mixed ingredients together, sweat trickled down her face a look of worry came across her face, as the queen looked down at the ground the witch added an extra ingredient. It would make the potion not kill someone, but put them into a deep sleep.
"There your potion is all fixed and ready!" she bottled up the potion carefully and handed it to the draconian queen.
Queen Erin lifted the glass bottle into the air and laughed in a deranged manner. Rachel gave the queen a raised eyebrow look.
"Oh thank you, Rachel! I appreciate the help. Now goodbye!" she cackled, rushing out the small home.
Rachel didn't want to do anymore detrimental deeds; she hurriedly packed her things and left her small home. She would travel to Nod to get away from the disturbed woman, who she thought was her friend.
"Oh Blair, I hope you're okay. I need to get to you before she does!"
With that Rachel made her long journey alone to the Land of Darkness.
