Chapter Nineteen

 "Blair..." he doubled over to his knees and taking her into his arms looking at her gray complexion.

"Leave her be!" Orion shouted, taking his daughter's hand.

"What happened to her?" Halford could feel the guilt in his heart.

"She was a good girl, finally taking my offer in saving your kingdom." the voice was not of Orion, Halford turned to see who it was.

Queen Erin and Aldrich stood with a look of victory in their eyes. Orion glared at them both, Erin smiled at her estranged husband. Halford stood up from the ground, cradling Blair in his arms; tears were pouring from his eyes.

"You did this! How can you do this to your own daughter?" Halford whimpered, the guilt eating him alive. He glanced down at Blair and held her face to his. "I'm so sorry, Blair. I love you if you can hear me please forgive me."

Queen Erin sneered at Halford; it was a shame to see such a handsome young man attracted to her ugly offspring. She went to him and took him by the hair, yanking him away from Blair. Orion was angered by this, he clenched his fist knowing nothing could be done.

"You fool, after all this time you still love this hideous girl?" she snorted, pushing him away.

"I'm no fool! You have no damn right coming to my land you vile snake!" he raged, sliding his Extinction sword from its sheath. "I believe you should leave and leave fast with that coward of yours!"

Abe and Orion backed away with the children, this was looking very messy and it wasn't good for the children to watch. They blocked their innocent eyes from the scene; Erin laughed at Halford who was being a stubborn idiot. Aldrich released his sword from his sheath and pointed it at Halford. The iron-willed prince snarled at the once captain quickly slamming his sword hard against his.

"You won't win this time, your highness!" Aldrich chuckled, as he slashed against his.

"You may be better than me, but I won't let you or this evil bitch win!"

Queen Erin watched the two fight, she took Blair's corpse and dragged it away from them. Halford was lucky to have turned around to see her taking away his princess; he smiled at Aldrich and went after the evil queen.

Halford tackled the queen to the ground, pinning her down in the dirt. He quickly pulled Blair out of the evil woman's arms; sitting with her cradled in his arms.

"You're a foolish boy! Why go after such a hideous creature like her! She's dead anyways saving her now is a stupid thing to do!" she shouted, getting up from the ground.

"It will never be a stupid thing to do! I love her and it doesn't matter how long I have to search I will find her cure! Even if it means bringing back your curse!" Halford lifted Blair into his arms as he stepped up from his knees. "I won't ever let you win!"

Suddenly, a beautiful light came over the land of Nod. Halford and Queen Erin and the rest of the group noticed this and became silent. Two figures came out from behind the trees, Aldrich was in shock seeing Queen Zelda followed by King Draiman. Quickly Aldrich ran away, leaving Queen Erin to fend for herself, she was angry that he left her behind.

"Halford is that you?" the woman asked, coming close to her son.

The prince gasped seeing the beautiful woman standing in front of him. He wept holding Blair out to her.

"It is I, mother. I'm sorry that I didn't come back home. I was a fool for being with Jessica. I should have listened to your warning."

King Draiman smiled at Halford and placed a hand on his shoulder. Halford turned to the man and wept even harder. He hadn't seen his father since he was a child!
