Little do they know that it is when she is alone that she is none of these things. She forgets the names of the people she met. Faces become blurs. Their laughter fades into the sounds of her heavy breathing- she'll soon be hyperventilating. Every compliment she received becomes another unattainable goal; every compliment gives her a reason hate herself just a little bit more.
