I opened my eyes and looked around. I felt something pulling around my waist. I looked down and saw a belt around my waist. I looked down at my phone and checked the time. 7:00 we had left at 5:00 so we should have been flying over the sea but we were flying over a city, a huge city. "hey guys, GUYS!" I hollered "where are we!" They jolted awake, Branwynn looked down turned green and looked ahead shrugging, Hunter looked back and also shrugged. She Yelled something but I couldn't hear it. She pointed down, suddenly Festus tilted down and sailed down. We landed just outside of the city I undid my belt and slid out of my seat. I looked around and stared at the city sign. in all caps it said BROOKLYNN. "guys! we've gone west instead of east" Hunter ran up behind me and stared at the sign. Branwynn had run to the bushes nearby and was throwing up. Hunter raised an eyebrow and shrugged "well I never got that hamburger so let's go and get one." She walked to Festus and pressed a button on his foreleg he folded and crinkled until he was a suitcase. Hunter grabbed it and started walking away towards the city. I followed, Branwynn stumbled after us. Hunter walked through the city looking at sign after sign. Finally we reached a bridge, that's when all of the universe broke loose and almost killed us in the process. I hate other dimensions. A huge snake rose out of the water. It was mottled green, grey and brown, Had a ridge of blue scales along it's back and, of course, it had wings. I immediately tried to find it's species in my mind. Dancenia from planet luntion? No they weren't green they were purple, grey and brown. How bout a basilisk from Pluto? No they didn't have wings. I was stumped, I pulled out a knife Connor had given me before I had left, I watched as it lifted it's head it's fangs dripping acid and water. He, I thought it was a he, glared at us with his muddy amber eyes. Then he struck. Hunter danced away and closed her eyes opening them and watching a spear materialize in her hand. Branwynn flipped away and drew her two swords. They both charged and I followed clutching my knife tightly. Branwynn reached it's head and drove her swords at it's eyes. The monster lifted it's head high and thrashed howling in pain. Hunter stepped back to avoid its tail and was about to strike when the bridge crumbled below her plunging her into the river. I looked down to see a web of cracks spreading from the edge. The bridge crumbled and I fell into the cold, dark water.

All I felt was pain and cold. That was until I was dragged from my would be grave and into hell above.
