I sigh exasperated-can't a girl go anywhere without getting caught.

"hi" I responded shortly crossing my arms "now if you don't mind I'm going to go and-" I stopped short as I opened the doors to find a huge monkey in front of me. I stepped back "I hate monkey's" I said under my breath as the monkey advanced.

"I wouldn't call Kufu a Monkey if I were you" called out Carter "He's a baboon" I glared at him as I backed up to the cot I had been on before.

"what do you want?" I asked angrily crossing my arms again. Carter Crossed one leg over the other, rested his elbow on his knee and his chin in his hand. He did a one over me then leaned back.

"just to ask you questions, but we're waiting for one more person." said Carter leaning back in his chair. I looked him up and down, he was dressed in kaki pants and a blue dress shirt. his hair was slightly curly and hanged loose as though he had neglected to cut it. I embarrassedly noticed his toned arms and intense stare as he looked me up and down again.

"you don't look like someone who set would use as a vessel." says Carter calmly I looked at him totally confused when I was interrupted by a pigeon flying in through the open window. I turned to look at it jumped when it said

"my uncle is very unpredictable" I pulled back shocked pigeons were not supposed to talk. I looked around nervously.

"this is Horus" said Carter "the God of falcons" I gaped openly at the both of them. This can't get any worse can it? I thought the pigeon opened his beak and said

"so how did My uncle posses you?" I shook my head

"I have no Idea what you're talking about!" I said angrily "I have no Idea who possessed me, who Set is, or How he possessed me all I know is that I woke up one morning and he was there." I closed my eyes a pounding headache had just attacked me.

"Set is the God of evil in ancient Egyptian culture. We've had a few run ins with him in the past. You could have become a vessel for him in many ways so if you don't know WE won't push you to remember" said Carter. I sighed happy not to use my brain anymore then I had to. The baboon suddenly screeched and hopped up and down pointing at my face. Carter looked at the baboon confused for a few seconds then he turned quickly and looked at me.

"ye Gods" he whispered I closed my eyes again as another migraine blasted through my skull I Heard a voice telling me to try to stay awake but I couldn't I let myself fall back against the bed and fall into darkness.
