Prologue

Hello, I'm Peridot Green, you're ordinary geek and anime nerd in High School. I'm a lesbian, which means I'm only attracted to girls.

Yeah I know, that may seem weird but, you can't help who you fall in love with. I was just born this way. I have a best friend named Lapis Lazuli. We've been friends since like, Freshmen year of High School.

Yeah and I think I have a crush on her. 

I mean, every time she holds my hand, hugs me for the longest time and then goes to class, it just makes my heart flutter all the time. Hell a lot of people been asking if we were dating. But she teases me about it sometimes.

Lapis told me she was bisexual. She only had like one girlfriend named Jasper in middle school, but they never worked out. She had a boyfriend last year, but he broke up with her since he says and I quote, "It's better this way."

Now she is single and has been really clingy onto me a lot. I mean she would hold my hand while she was dating that guy last year, but this summer and this year was different.

I think she knows that I like her but I don't know if she likes me back. But most of the things we do, friend's don't usually do, mostly like cuddling and holding hands. I sometimes kiss her on the cheek too.

Hopefully this year in High School, I will confess to her.
