Ethan nearly had a heart attack, he felt all the blood being sucked out from his face and his mouth went dry.

He was scared and he wanted to run But he knew it would make things worse for him.

Ethan's heart starts beating painfully fast and it's the only thing he could hear. He starts trembling and tears rolled down his cheeks again.

They found out about the murders.

Was all the repeated in his mind. He was going to explode soon.

Y/n's eyes widen as she stared at the officers who stared down at her. She licked her salty and chapped lips then shifted in her bed.

Her heart rate increased out of fear. "Relax" one of the officers said but y/n didn't trust him. She was scared for ethan.

"I'm here to speak to you about a report made my your mother" the officer said and Ethan's breathe hitched. "She said that your boyfriend has been abusive to you, and by the looks of your neck, I can see proof" the female officer said while she touched y/n's neck making her flinch.

"Can you tell me the name of your boyfriend?" The officer asked and y/n coughed at the word boyfriend. ethan was shaking at this point. Y/n coughed one more time before she spoke up.

"H-him" She stammered weakly while pointing at ethan . He froze in his place, feeling betrayed.

"Are you the man , abusing this young lady?" The officer asked and Ethan stiffen. Words couldn't form in his mouth and he couldn't move. "Answer dipshit" The officer said and grabbed unto Ethan's shirt collar.

"Y-Yeah" he breathe out when the officer let him go. "Ma'am it is up to you to press charges, say yes we'll take him" the officer said and turned to y/n Who gulped.

She looked over to ethan and for the first time in her life she saw fear, Ethan was scared and frozen. Ethan was powerless, she was in charge of him. But she failed.

Those eyes told her that they can love again.

"N-no I won't press charges" she said and a tear slipped from her eye. She knew she failed herself and she knew he was gonna hit her again. But love, love was the ram resin why she decided not to send his ass to jail, but she didn't know that it was a different type of love what was very deceptive, the brutal kind.

"What?" Her father asked completely dumbfounded. "You let this man manipulate you and abuse-" "dad,love him-" "this is not love, your mother and I never raised a fucking toy!" Her father exclaimed and walked out her room.

The officers sighed and left too.

Ethan stood there,contemplating on if he should leave or stay.

"E-ethan" y/n weakly Called out and he ran to her side. He kneeled and grabbed her hand then kissed it. Y/n pet his hair and smiled.

"I don't know why my heart wants you, I don't" she admitted. "I feel like I'm attached to you and no matter what I try I will always end up with you" she added and Ethan squeezes her hand.

"Why do I love you? After all that you've done to me? Why do I allow myself to get hurt by someone like you? Why?"She asked and starts crying. Ethan kisses her hand continuously then starts crying too.

"Baby, I'm sorry" he managed to say and y/n cried more. "You're sorry that I did this to myself, you're not sorry about being the reason"she said and pulled her hand away from his grip.

"I'm sorry, I really am" he looked at her with tears in his eyes, searching for the sympathy in her glistening ones.

"You don't mean that" she said and looked away. "Believe what you want, I know that I'm sorry and I know that I love you, there's no lies in that" ethan said and stood up.

"And I wouldn't leave you, not for anyone or anything" he said while caressing her cheek. Y/n melted by his touch, she was a weak woman for him and she couldn't control it.

Ethan leaned over and pecked her lips. Y/n opened her eyes widely but 3 seconds later they started making out.

"Ahem" Grayson cleared his throat behind them and they pulled away from eachother. Ethan wiped the saliva from the corners of his mouth and turned to face Grayson.

He walks over to his brother to give him a hug but Grayson walks pass him and hugs y/n instead.

"How are you feeling?" Grayson pulls away from the hug to ask but after y/n can answer Grayson starts kissing her all over her face.

"Hey hey" ethan says while trying to pull Grayson away. "HEY!" Ethan yells because Grayson mischievously kissed y/n on her lips. "Always wanted to do that" Grayson smirks and Ethan growls at him.

Someone knocks on the door. "Come in" ethan says and Lisa comes in. "Y/n has lost a lot of blood and she needs. We have to get a donor" she says. "I'd do it" "no I'll do it"

"How about you both do it? Follow me" Lisa says while chuckling and walking away.

"Why does she have our last name?" Grayson whispered to ethan. "That's our mother" ethan whispered back and Grayson stops in his tracks.
