"he was the smartest guy in my major and all the girls liked him. one day I wasn't watching where I was going and I bumped into him. He cursed me out and I wanted to run away to hide and cry but he stopped me and pulled me into a hug and said he was sorry, after that we became best friends and lovers thereafter" Lisa smiled at the memory but her smile turned into a frown.

"but he stopped coming to class and started hanging out with a couple of other guys that were in college longer than he was. He started avoiding me and ditching me on dates until one day I decided to follow him" she shifted in her seat and gulped.

"I was hiding behind the garbage bin and when i peeked out,I saw him smoking and he had a gun in his waist. The sight broke my heart and it wrecked me when he stopped coming to college completely, because he was wanted by the police." Grayson's eyes dilate upon hearing this.

"people told me that your father was killing people for money. The police found out that I was his lover at the time and they took me in for questioning but I had nothing to tell them because I never saw him again." She smiled sadly.

"some of his "friends" died while the others are still in prison,your father got away"

"We met at a party again and we decided that we should start things over. Everything was going great until I got myself involved in his type I living, though I didn't kill anyone , I was his ride or die. He threatened to cut my head off if I left him but the threat didn't make me stay , the love I had for him made me"

"He told me to drop out of college because he can give me everything I wanted but I needed college so I refused. He shot me in my left leg, twice" Lisa explained while raising up her dress to point to the gun shot wounds, Ethan scowl at the sight.

"Your father had everything and that made him believe that he was a god or something. But he was the devil. Your father starting going on killing sprees for no reason. If you looked at him in a bad way, you're on the news the next day and your family or the government is planning your funeral" Lisa laughed bitterly.

"He decided to joined a mafia, in belief that he needed help to manage his money and guidance by the best in the business. But your father started feeling controlled m, Sean , yeah I forgot to mention, your father name was Sean. Your father started hating the idea of being controlled and he didn't have access to the his money until the boss told him he can" Lisa shifted in her seat again.

"He wanted to get rid of the boss so he started from the bottom up. He killed guards and drug dealers. The boss believed that it was the rival gang and it turned into a war. The police didn't want to get involved because it was that bad. When the war got worst your father and I ran away" Lisa started to play with her fingers.

"Then I got pregnant with you guys and your father turned into a different man. He was more loving and he didn't touch a gun since I was pregnant. I was 9 months pregnant and I was in the hospital because I could've had you guys any minute" Tears started streaming from her eyes.

"Your father came to drop off some fruits for me but told him not to but he came anyway. He kissed my stomach one last time. As soon as he walked out my hospital room the police put him in hand cuffs and told him he had a choice because they knew what he used to be involved in. They told him that he can take life in prison or they kill him, either way he was safe from the mafia because they were looking for him, I didn't know which one he picked because I never saw him again" Lisa started crying and quiet sobs left her mouth as her shoulders shake.

"Some men from the mafia came shortly after and they threatened me. They told me that when I have my babies that they would behead me and my children. I couldn't let that happen. I thought the man was joking but he showed my a sword in a bag and I got scared. The men walked out the room and the nurses came in. I was in labor and I told them to call the police. When I had you guys , the police came. The men where still waiting and i didn't know what to do. I kissed your foreheads and told you guys that I was sorry and I left the hospital and never saw you guys until the other day" as soon as she finished, Lisa broke down even more.

Grayson and Ethan had nothing to say, they watched their mother break down in tears as they try to process what they had just heard.

Y/n got off her seat and went to comfort Lisa, as Grayson started crying.
