I took his hand as he lead me to the table and pulled out the chair for me to sit.

"You are radiant. Did everything fit?" He asked as he took once last look at me as I sat myself down on the chair.

"Perfectly" I answered. He pushed the chair and myself under the table and took the seat opposite me, the band still playing on the stage.

"What is all this for?"I asked as a waiter came over and poured wine in to the the empty glasses that were on the table. He pressed his finger against his mouth.

"Shh, I don't need a reason" He said. I blushed slightly as he took a sip of his wine without taking his eyes off me.  What was he planning and why was he doing this? He said a while ago he had a vision of me. I am still wondering what that could be.I heard the faint sound of footsteps and turned to my side to see a waiter holding a tray. He placed two plates on to the table. It was salmon and fresh salad, a big bowl of chips which I was assuming to share as I couldn't eat all them myself, and small containers of different sauces.

"Doe this appease you m'lady?" He smirked when saying this.

"This looks excellent Oswald ," I answered. The food brought out was my number one favourite dish. My mother used to make the same when she was alive. I hadn't had the dish for so long. How did Oswald know ? Lucky Guess? He began to tuck in his food, I watched as he tried to eat so politely. I just tucked in. I was starving. The band began to play another song "Bill Withers - Ain't no sunshine". Oswald lifted his fork and pointed to the gentleman singing.

"This song is a favourite of my mothers. Who I would like you to meet at a more suitable time. You watched her at the entertainment but only briefly. I would like you both to meet. She is an incredible woman my mother. Such a treasure." He said, he was so loving towards his mother.  It warmed my heart to see someone treat there mother with respect , love and treasuring them. I smiled. I loved how gentle sounding he was when he spoke about her.

"She is a darling , She would do anything for anyone. That is why I would like you both to get acquainted. After all , you work for me and that is my job set out for you." I smiled. I didn't mind meeting his mother. The way he spoke of her made me want to meet her properly. Last time I had seen her she was singing out of tune on the stage.

"Ah listen to this verse" He said again pointing his fork to the singer. I stopped eating and paid full attention to the band ans singer.

"Ain't no sunshine when she's gone, only darkness every day, ain't no sunshine when she's gone and this house just ain't no home anytime she goes away "He sang. The lyrics were so beautiful. Was he aiming that verse at me. I turned to face Oswald.

"Beautiful" I mouthed. I noticed him blush slightly. There was another side to Oswald than that of violence and anger. He seemed like a good person deep down somewhere. I was lucky enough to not have seen his violence towards myself. I must be doing something right. We finished our food and the waiter that served us , topped our glasses up and discarded our dirty plates.

"That was delicious. Thank you Oswald." He laughed in his throat.

"Not a problem Miss. I would like to show you something. I hardly ever spend time there but I would like to introduce you to my mansion. If you will accept. There's no force in to you coming" He said finishing the wine in his glass. I had nothing else planned this evening and I really want to wear this dress for longer. I accepted by nodding.

"Excellent" He smirked.

"Butch!" He shouted loudly. Butch appeared from the back room. He stood next to Oswald.

"Yes Boss?"

"Escort me and the dear lady to my mansion. You can then have the rest of the evening off". Butch smiled and laughed a hearty laugh. He clapped his hands together.
