JILL
From: Jeric Teng
hey, my favorite girlfriend. i know you're busy studying for the finals. i'm just reminding you na i like you. a lot. ;) baka kasi makalimutan mo sa dami ng nirereview mo. haha kaya mo 'yan :)
I was fussing over my requirements and reviewers when my phone suddenly beeped. The message from Jeric definitely put a smile on my face. It was as if I didn't feel any stress for the past hour. Seriously, how sweet can this guy get?

Are you planning to give me diabetes? Haha Thanks, Tiger boyfie :) Nasstress na nga ako kanina e. One last push before summer vacation. Or just summer because I have no vacation. Boo.
"Hey." I answered when Jeric's Facebook DP flashed on my screen.
"Okay ka pa?" He asked.
"Yeah, medyo stressed lang pero nothing new about it naman." I chuckled.
"You want me to come over later? We can watch one movie." He offered. As tempting as that sounds, I would have to say no.
"Wag na. I have a lot of papers to do pa din e so I won't be able to accommodate you. I'll just pause sa pagrereview muna so I can gather my thoughts." I explained.
"Don't forgret to eat ha. Hindi man kapani-paniwala pero you forget to eat when you're stressed." He reminded.
"I'm actually torn on whether I should put that under the 'concerned' category or the 'nang-aasar' category." I replied.
"Both." He chuckled. "Come to think of it, mas okay nga na hindi ako pumunta. Baka ma-distract ka lang sakin e."
"You sound like you're in a jolly mood today. I knew it, you're feeding on my misery." I teased.
"No, my good mood is not a product of your misery. My good mood is a product of hearing your voice." He said. You know when you can picture the person on the other line smiling based on their voice? That's how I imagine him right now. It was a good thing we were talking on the phone and miles away from each other because I can feel my face go red from his words.
"Ang dami talagang alam. Too cheesy!" I said jokingly.
"Sus, kinikilig ka lang e." He retorted.
"Wala ka bang training today? Bakit ako ang ginugulo mo?" I laughed.
"Because you're my favorite." I can hear the smug from his voice. "Walk-through muna before practice. Actually, we're about to start in a few. I just called to check up on you. And I know how much you miss me." To be honest, I miss him a bit since the last time we saw each other was two weeks ago, I think. Hashtag clingy.
But in my defense, we haven't even talked much either since he was busy with training for the Finals and the upcoming Commissioner's Cup, and the new endorsements and commercials. And I was busy too, with academic and org requirements and my own version of the Finals. Lol. Halos puro text lang kami, which I think overcompensated for the lack of visual contact. We even came to a point where emojis were all we could send but we still kept on replying to each other.
"Keep telling yourself that." I countered. "Baka ikaw."
"Alam ko namang hindi mo sasabihin e. So I'll say it for you." He let out a hearty laugh.
"I'm not mute. I can say it naman. But you stole my moment so you don't get to hear it." I told him childishly.
"Arte. May moment pang nalalaman. Sige, I'm going inside in a few. Hindi mo talaga sasabihin na miss mo na ako?" He challenged
