JILL

"Kim, diba you're looking for someone na magaling mag-drawing and mag-photoshop?" I asked him. We were having lunch with Kayesha and Aljon at one of the eateries in Asturias.

"Para saan?" Kayesha asked.

"Yun ba yung para sa party ng sister mo?"Aljon chimed in.

"Oo. May kilala ka ba?" He replied. And that was the answer I was looking for.

"Yeah. Actually, I'm going to meet her after this. Sama ka na rin para madiscuss yung plans mo and kung kaya niya." I said, trying to tone down my excitement and be as normal as possible.

"Uy, 'she' daw! Baka siya na yun, paps!" Aljon joked. If he only knew.

"Oo nga!" Kayesha excitedly agreed with him. "So she's from UST din?"

"Yup, CFAD." I answered them.

"Yun! Kaya yun mga demands mo." Aljon said to Kim.

"Baliw ka talaga, paps." Kim told Aljon. "Sige chubs, sama ako. Hindi pa naman nagtetext si David e. Saan kayo magkikita?"

"Sa may coffee shop lang sa P. Noval." It has been our favorite hangout place ever since we became friends.

"Kim, chubs, alis na kami ni Kaye. Manonood pa kami ng movie." Aljon said to us.

"Alright. Enjoy the movie!" I replied. Kim and I stood up as well to make our way towards the coffee shop.

We were chatting about a TV series we both watch when it looked like he suddenly remembered something.

"Teka lang, chubs. CFAD tapos friend mo. At parang kanina ka pa ngiti ng ngiti dyan. Don't tell me yung friend mo si"

"Al!" I cut off what Kim said when we arrived.

"Hey Jill!" She hugged me when I got to the seat next to her. "Hi, Kim."

"Hi." Kim replied. He shot me a look and I kept an innocent face.

"Kim is the one I was telling you about. He's looking for someone to help him for his sister's party. Magaling mag-draw and skillful sa Photoshop. I immediately thought of you." I told Almira. When she wasn't looking, I smiled deviously at Kim.

"Parang sobra na ata yung magaling mag-draw and skillful sa Photoshop." Almira giggled.

"I've seen your works kaya! I wish I was as artistic as you nga e." I replied. "Kim, ikaw na mag-explain kay Al ng reqs mo." I took out my phone to play some game but kept my ears on them. I'm not being chismosa, I'm participating in the conversation. Lol.

"Kasi sa venue ang plano namin is to put up photos of Katrina na different styles. May cartoon, sepia, and other effects. E wala samin heavy user ng Photoshop so hindi ko alam ano pa iba and how to do it." Kim explained while Almira was listening intently. "Yung invitations niya gusto niya doodle pero may sophistication. Black and white party niya para daw mag-pop out yung colors ng photos sa walls."

"Nice concept." Almira commented. "So how many photos are you planning to put up?"

"We're planning to put up eighteen photos. Naisip namin ni David maghahanap kami each ng artist kasi baka sobrang dami pag eighteen photos ang nirequest namin from one person." Kim answered her.

"Actually, eighteen doesn't sound too many naman. Lalo na if the artist is given free hand to do the design. And yung invitation?" Almira inquired.
