"Fuck you"

-

It was a normal day at the Gallagher house. Well, as normal as "normal" could be for the Gallagher family.

-

I had woken up at 8:30 am, on the dot. I climbed over my sleeping boyfriend, Carl, and walked into the restroom. I began to get ready, putting on my makeup and straightening my hair. I usually shared clothes with Fiona or Debbie since I didn't really have many myself.

Once finished with my hair and makeup, I went into Debbie's bedroom, picking out a pair of light jeans and a black, off-the-shoulder shirt. I got dressed and put on a pair of black heels.

I quietly made my way downstairs to the kitchen. Sunday was my day to cook breakfast for the family. By all means, I wasn't actually a part of this family. I just lived there since I didn't have any other place to go.

Fiona took me in as if I were her own and I'd been living there since my parents threw me out on my ass at thirteen years old.

I decided on making scrambled eggs and bacon, with the choice of orange juice or milk. Once finished with breakfast, I stood at the bottom of the stairs. "Wake the hell up! Breakfast is ready!", I screamed.

It wasn't unusual to wake everyone up by screaming, it was just the Gallagher way to wake the family up.

I sat at the table with my plate while I waited on everyone to come down. But, oddly, Fiona was the only one who came down.

"Good morning, Fi", I said softly, giving her a small smile. "Morning, kiddo", she said groggily. "Where is everyone?", I asked, sounding a little hurt since I'd made breakfast and I wanted the entire family here to enjoy it. "Probably asleep. I know Carl still is", she mumbled as she sat down with her plate.

I sighed and got up, walking upstairs. "GUYS, WAKE THE FUCK UP! I MADE BREAKFAST!", I yelled, walking down the upstairs hallway. Cursing wasn't unusual in this household. But still, no one got up.

I walked into Ian, Carl, and Lip's bedroom, slamming open the door. They were all still dead asleep. "Well, what the fuck", I mumbled under my breath. I walked over to Carl's bed. "Babe, hey. It's time to wake up", I whispered sweetly into his ear as I gently ran my hand through his hair.

His eyes slowly opened as he took in a deep breath. He stretched his arms up, groaning a little before sitting up. "Good morning, gorgeous" he mumbled softly, leaning down as he kissed the top of my head. "Good morning, dad hair dude", I said, laughing a little, as this was our inside joke together.

I gently kissed his nose before stepping back so he could hop down from the bunk bed he normally slept in. He then hopped down, stretching again as he did so. "Babes, wake up your brothers. It's time to eat", I said before turning and walking out of the room.

I walked to Debbie's door, only to find that her room was empty. "What the hell", I mumbled under my breath before turning and walking away, slamming the door behind me.

I shook my head and trotted back down the stairs into the kitchen, finding the rest of the Gallagher family, except Frank, of course, standing in the kitchen, watching me.

"What the hell are you bums starin at? Get eatin'. I've got places to be", I said, looking around for Fiona, who had already left for the day.

After saying that, the family scurried around the kitchen, making themselves plates of food. I walked over to Liam's high-chair and began feeding him.

"Babe, aren't you gonna eat?", Carl asked groggily, taking a seat at the table closest to me. I shook my head. "Nah, I'll eat later. We've got plans."

-

Since today was Sunday, I didn't have to watch Liam. So, Ian had him today. I don't go to school since I dropped out in the tenth grade because I stopped giving a shit.

"My god. Let me open my damn eyes. You know I hate surprises and shit", Carl complained as I led him to a picnic blanket. Today was our 3 year anniversary, so I'd planned a picnic in the park and then a movie for us later.

"Enough complaining. I did this for you. For us. You could at least act excited", I grumbled, rolling my eyes as we reached the blanket. "Okay, open", I mumbled softly.

He opened up his eyes, looking around. I reached up and tilted his head down so he could see the picnic basket and blanket I had laid out. "That's it? You made me close my eyes for 20 minutes for a picnic?", he complained, crossing his arms.

"You could at least be fucking appreciative, Carl. It's our three year anniversary. I've got other stuff planned for us besides this", I huffed, feeling a little hurt.

"I'm kidding, princess. Thank you.", he said softly, gently kissing the tip of my nose. "Also, there's something I wanna tell you."

"What is it?", I asked curiously, leaning towards him.

"I love you.", he said softly, his face turning a light shade of red.

In the three years of us being together, not one of us has ever said 'I love you' to the other. We've never been the type for that.

Happy tears welled up in my eyes, my heart floating into the clouds. "I love you too."

"Also, there's something I wanna ask you", he said, getting down on one knee and pulling out a small, black box with a gorgeous diamond ring in it.

"Will you marry me?"

-

It was around 11:00 pm when Carl and I had gotten home from our date. We waited until the entire family, including Kev and V, was sitting down to tell them the news.

"Guys, Carl and I are engaged!", I squealed happily, holding up my hand to show everyone the ring.

Happy shouts and squeals filled the room.

Lip got up, grabbing Carl by the collar of his shirt, hitting him square in the jaw, clearly fracturing a few bones.

"Fuck you", he mumbled on his way out, slamming the door behind him.
