Song of the Chapter: Tell your dad, by New Politics

Cade and I stayed up all night last night talking about our life the last five years.

I told him about Colton's many boyfriends and he tells me about Grandpa's gassy nights.

We both end up falling asleep in my bed around 5:00 am and we both get a rude awakening at 7:00.

"Ugh. I just want to sleep," I complain covering my face with a pillow.

"I agree," says a voice surprising me.

"Aghhh," I scream as I jump out of bed the cool floor shocking me.

I run out of my room screaming. Mom, and Sage run out of their rooms asking what's wrong.

I almost answer when I remember what happened last night.

I start to laugh ignoring Sage and mom's questioning looks as Cade walks out of my room rubbing his eyes.

"Kieran!" My mom yells at me. "Who the hell is this? Did you have a guy over last night?"

I laugh at her response to Cade.

Sage stands still staring at Cade with her mouth wide open.

"You really don't remember me momma?" Cade says with a look of fake hurt and mom gasps.

"Cade?" She questions and Cade nods his head.

"Oh my gosh," Mom runs up and hugs Cade but Sage stays frozen in her place.

Mom pulls back from Cade with tears streaming down her face.

"Oh my gosh, I've missed you my baby,"

"Just wait til Cole sees you," I tell Cade with a laugh and he groans.

"Oh my gosh, she had the biggest crush on me,"

"Yup."

We walk quietly for the rest of the way bumping into each other and giggling quietly.

As we walk I feel like I forgot something. I look around at the houses and when we walk past one something in my head flips on.

"Oh!" I yell as I run up to the house and Cade trails behind me asking why I'm going up to this house.

I knock on the door eagerly and it gets answered by a sleepy looking Remington.

"Hi Rem," I say and he blinks sleepily.

"Hi Kieran," he says as he sees Cade and raises an eyebrow. "I'll go see if he's awake," he says as he turns around and disappears into their house.

When Remington disappears Cade grabs my arm and turns me around.

"What are we doing here Kieran?" He asks as Remington comes back and I shush him.

"He already went to school. At least that's what Sebastian says," Remington informs us.

"OK thanks," I say with a wave as I grab Cade's wrist and start to drag him into the direction of the school.

When we get to the school we are both trying to catch our breath and I can see Cade giving me a questioning look.

"Ready for your first day of school here?" I ask Cade and he shakes his head.

"Nope. But are you gonna tell me why we were running? I don't run," he tells me with a serious look and I laugh.

"Neither do I, but come on you have to meet someone.

As we walk into the school a couple people notice Cade and I, but most just keep to themselves.

I see Emerson at his locker digging for something out of his backpack and I motion for Cade to be quiet and to follow me.

I slowly walk up to Emerson and I stand over his shoulder and start to breathe really hard.

"What the-" Emerson says but doesn't finish as he notices me. He picks me up and twirls me around.

"I thought you were going to call me," he says and I smile.

"I totally forgot . . . And some things came up," I tell him with a shrug and he finally notices Cade.

"Who's this?" Emerson asks.

"Emerson, this is Cade. My twin Cade," I tell Emerson and his eyes widen.

"What! You never told me you had a brother or a twin," Emerson says and I laugh.

"Yeah . . . I just kind of erased him," I say with a guilty smile and Cade gives a look of fake hurt.

"Wow Kier.,"

"Sorry,"

"Well we better get to class," I say as I look around and notice many people in the hallway looking at us.

"Yeah, class," Cade says as he also notices the people around us.

"Actually I have to take you to the office Cade. See you later Emerson," I link my arm in Cade's and we walk in the direction of the bathroom.

"Well your boyfriend is cool," Cade says with a smile.

"Yeah, he is."

A/N I am so sorry it took me forever to update. My phone is at my cousins and now I'm using my mom's old phone and she doesn't know it. Whoops. Anyways . . . What are you gonna be for Halloween?  I'm being a ghoul from Tokyo Ghoul. So yeah. Bye.
