By now there was at least 100 people here. There were cups thrown all over the place, trash left on the tables and food crumbs spread all over the carpet. I would try and pick up each cup thrown but there were too many.

My mom wanted this house clean and it looked like a garage can threw up in here. I throw the last cup into the garbage as I run my forehead exhausted. "This party is great Kenz" Brynn shouts over the loud music approaching behind me.

I turn around and give her a smile. "Thanks Brynn."

We walk over to the kitchen to escape from the crowd. It was nice and quiet and at least cleaner than everywhere else. I mean the house still looked good. The lights hung up, the music, the confetti and balloons.

I swipe my hands down my dress making sure it was still pure white. No spills or stains. I sigh and lean with my back against the counter and my hands rested in back of me. "Your still waiting for them to show up aren't you!?" Brynn shakes her head laughing as if I'm delusional.

I smirk a little shrugging my shoulders... "maybe..." Brynn let's out a sigh and throws her hands up "Kenz they aren't good for you. They aren't the people to hang around princesses." That word. That one word she said got me a little upset.

I push my body of the counter and face towards her throwing my hands up and slapping them at my side "maybe I don't want to be a princess anymore." I half yell. She raises her eyebrows and blinks as if she heard someone just died. She laughs nervously. "What do you mean?" She narrows her eyes.

"Everyone's expecting me to be this perfect, clean, smart princess and I-I just don't think I can live up to it. My mom thinks I'm some extraordinary dancer but I'm not. I'm not good." I look down as my voice lowers from my yell. It's true. This is all true.

It isn't easy for me to keep up with all the A's. I struggle. School is easy for me but having to balance with my dance schedule. It can be... rough. Everyone's always calling me a princess or little miss perfect. I don't want people to just see me as that.

"DING" the doorbell rings startling both Brynn and I. I let out a deep breath and give Brynn a look of anxiousness. I start to slowly walk to the door as she walks right beside me. I see Ruby flash her head towards me running by my side.

Could it be them...?

Is this what I was waiting for?

I step out in front as they both are behind me, each one at my side. I lift my hand to the shiny metal handle and twist it open with my shaking sweaty palms.

I pull open the door as I hear that crack in the door hinge. The cool wind gust through the door frame. I sigh and pull it all the way open.

Brynn and Ruby both gasp as the cover their mouths with their hands.

No...no no no no no this can't be happening.
