Gamzee's cabin was full of loud music, drinks and people. Everyone was having a good time and the bass was rumbling the house, vibrating through people's bodies. In the kitchen Vriska and Terezi were in a serious game of beer pong while John, Jade, Latula and a few others cheered them on. Others were littered throughout the house dancing, drinking or doing other things. Raven wandered about the house trying to have fun because her friend dragged her here. She finally gave up and snuck out the backdoor and walked into the surrounding forest. Raven walked until she found a clearing, the stars shining up above welcomed her. She looked around for a good spot to sit and she spotted a log almost in the middle of the clearing. Raven leaned against the log and stared up at the stars, losing herself in her thoughts. For a long time she sat in silence until someone walked into the clearing where she had come from. She looked over and saw Karkat walking over to her. "Raven?" He asked, coming closer towards her. She looked at him for a moment before replying. "Karkat, what are you doing here?" Karkat looked down at her, her honey colored eyes lit up by the moon beams. "I noticed you were gone, so I came to find you." He said, taking a seat next to Raven. "Really? I honestly didn't think anyone would notice, they're all in their own little worlds." She said almost to herself. "Of course I noticed..." Karkat whispered. They sat in silence for a moment, both of them staring up at the night sky. "Are you cold?" Karkat asked, breaking the silence. Once he said that Raven noticed the chill creeping over her skin. "Yeah, a bit." She replied, goosebumps forming on her arms. Karkat took off his sweater and handed it to Raven. She looked at it with wide eyes. "Are you sure? Won't you get cold?" She asked, half reaching for the sweater. "Yes, I'm sure. I don't get cold that easily." He replied, putting the sweater in her hands. Raven smiled and slipped on the sweater, it immediately enveloping her in warmth as the soft material touched her skin. "Thank you." "Anything for you, Raven." Karkat said with a smile, a fang showing slightly. The sweater was so big it went passed her fingertips and made her look tinier than she already was. Seeing her in his sweater make Karkats heart beat faster and his cheeks warm under his grey skin. "Raven, can I tell you something?" Karkat asked shyly. "Of course." She replied, adjusting her legs.. " I have feelings for you, red ones. I understand if you don't feel the same. I just wanted to tell you while we were alone." Karkat said, his face aflame. "I do too." Raven said simply. That caught his off guard that he asked "You too, what?" She stared directly into his eyes and said, "I have red feelings for you too. Deep red." A smile spread across Karkats face as he said, "One more thing then, will you be my matesprit?" Raven turned to face him and got on her knees and kissed his lips. "Yes." She whispered before curdling up next to him, a meteor shower lighting up the sky.
