@ School Dance

The Day students were having fun, enjoying the one evening they can share with the Night Class. Ketsuki stood on the outer edge, close to the wall, watching everyone else dance. She only came to hear the music but she was getting bored so Ketsuki made her way outside. The sky was littered with stars and the full moon lit up the night, Ketsuki took off her heels and walked to the fountain. She sat on the edge of the fountain and listened to the water cascade down in a soft roar. Dances still made her uncomfortable since she was never allowed to go. She sat there with her eyes closed, listening to the water crash behind her, lost in the sound when a voice asked, "What are you doing out here instead of at the dance?" She opened her eyes to see Kaname standing in front of her. "Dances aren't really my thing, I don't know how to." She replied truthfully. "All upper class vampires know how to dance though." Kaname stated. "Well, looks like my Guardians didn't get the memo." Ketsuki said then let out a short laugh. Kaname held out his hand, " I could teach you, we don't even need music." She stared at his outstretched hand then his eyes. "Wouldn't your 'lover' find out?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. "Don't worry about Yuki, she's just someone dear to me." Kaname replied with a smile. She thought for a moment then slid her petite hand into his. "Fine, I accept your offer, Kaname." Ketsuki said and was rewarded with a genuine smile.
