*Miraculous*

The students were on a four day trip to one of the castles for a history lesson. Students who were able to go were all given their own rooms that also had their own wash rooms attached. They were allowed to roam the castle and the grounds until dusk then lights out at 10 pm. Hesperus spent most of her time either in the gardens or exploring the huge library until lights out, when the fireplace comes alive. On the third night Hesperus had a nightmare and couldn't sleep so she silently escaped to her haven, the library. The library was lit by the firefight coming from the far left wall. She sat in front of the fire, her pajamas taking in the warmth and the light highlighting her tangled black and red hair. With restless eyes she watched the fire flicker across the logs, mesmerized. She heard faint footsteps coming from behind her and a voice that asked, "Couldn't sleep either?" Hesperus turned and saw Adrien with toussled hair and his green eyes bright in the firelight. "Nightmare." She replied, rubbing her eye. Adrien cam up to her and motion to the spot next to her. "May I sit with you? Hesperus nodded and watched him sit cross-legged to her right. "So, why are you awake?" She asked, adjusting her legs outward. Adrien shrugged, "I'm not sure, I wasn't able to sleep." "Another question, why did you decide to come here? I haven't seen anyone else in here while I'm here." Hesperus said, gesturing around them. "You've never seen me in here? I'm usually in the window seat over there." Adrien pointed to the opposite side of the room in the far left corner. "Looking at the gardens while I read." Hesperus was starting to relax more and leaned her head on Adriens shoulder. "I like listening to your voice, it's very soothing." She said sleepily. Adrien let out a soft laugh. "We should get you to bed. You look like you'll pass out any second." Hesperus let out a groan but didn't resist when he pulled her up onto her feet. They made it to Hesperus' room in silence, Adrien opened the door for her and turned to leave. "Stay?" She asked sleepily, her red and gold eyes meeting his green ones. "To keep the nightmares away?" Adrien asked, taking a step towards her. Hesperus nodded and waited for Adrien to come in before closing the door. She climbed into the bed and moved towards the edge so Adrien had room to fit. "Sleep." She whispered, her eyes shining. Adrien obliged and crawled under the blanket next to Hesperus, once he was still she snuggled close to him and closed her eyes. He held her close and whispered, "This is very nice." Before drifting off to sleep with Hesperus in his arms.
