Explanation for Ashaiya's hair

Okay. So you may be wondering, Why is her hair an ombré magenta, pink, and white?

I'm willing to bet that most of you couldn't care less. But I'm explaining it anyways.

When an Ajranya is young, they go through a short phase of very dark hair. For Ashaiya, she started off with the dark magenta you see on the ends and will eventually see in the roots and middle of her hair.

Eventually, their hair begins to change colors as it grows, becoming a lighter color. The color continues to grow lighter and lighter until it becomes white, then continues to grow that way until they reach a certain age. It's usually from 10-15. Their hair begins to turn darker and darker, until it eventually turns back into the dark shade the Ajranya was born with.

Can you guess what happens after that? The hair begins the process of growing lighter again. This cycle takes around 25-30 years to complete, at which point the Ajranya will have two 'rings' of color around their hair, if they never cut it.

When an Ajranya reaches 50-60, they'll have 4 'rings'. When an Ajranya reaches 75-90, they'll have 6 'rings'. They usually die around that age, so if an Ajranya never cuts their hair in their entire life, and lives an average-long life, they will end up with 5 1/2 or 6 'rings' in their hair.

So,

5 years=one 'ring' at the bottom of their hair, with a small amount of white hair growing above it.

10-15 years= one 'ring' at the bottom of their hair, and a half of a 'ring' at the top of their head, with white hair in between.

25-30 years= two 'rings', one at the top and one at the bottom of the Ajranya's hair, with white hair in between.

50-60 years= four 'rings', one at the top and one at the bottom with the other two in between, spaced at uneven intervals with white hair in between each 'ring'.

75-90 years= six 'rings', one at the top and one at the bottom and four in between, spaced at uneven intervals with white hair in between each 'ring'.

So there you go! I sorta came up with a lot of this as it was written 😅 I may include pictures of this in a later chapter. But there you go! It finally makes a little bit of sense.
