HYERI'S POV. //

"Hyeri.. Have you forgotten about me? Are we no longer best friends.."

Naeun pouted at me as she wrapped her hands around my arm.
I felt kinda guilty,
I have not been catching up with her lately.

"Unnie, I'm so sorry. I've been so busy recently and it's hard to meet you in school since we're in different years..."

I sighed and looked at her face, still pouting.

"Aish dongsaeng, I understand. I'm getting really busy.. College entry exams and all that. Just keep me updated with your life okay? I don't want to drift further away from you."

She smiled at me.
I'm so thankful to have a best friend like Naeun.
Although she's a year older,
that doesn't make any difference.

I then gave her a tight hug before we both went to our respective classes.

First period.

I sat at my seat.
Taking out my books needed for first period.

"Hyeri-ah,"

Two of my classmates came to my table.

"Yes?"

"Are you going to Jimin's birthday party this weekend? He's willing to invite anyone."

Oh god.
Jimin?
I totally forgotten he existed.
I've been so busy lately and he has not been bothering me,
why bring him up now?

"Ahh he didn't tell me about it though!"

"I'm telling you now."

He appeared out of no where and was resting his head on his hands,
leaning against my desk.

"Would you come to my party? It's my birthday.."

He pleaded with puppy eyes.
I hate him,
why should I attend his party?
A part of me wanted to go,
another strongly disagreed.
I felt bad turning him down though,
since it's his birthday.

"Fine, I'll go."

His lips slowly curved into a small smile.
The two classmates started clapping happily.

What have I gotten myself into?
