Jennie approached me with wide open eyes.
She looked happy,
excited to tell me about something.

"Yeah?"

"I made up my mind, I'm gonna try auditioning."

She playfully winked and slightly jumped.

"Omo really?? You have my 100% support!! Good luck~"

I pulled her into a hug.
I was glad she wanted to give it a try,
the world needed to know about her talent.

I'm usually not this affectionate,
especially to someone I don't really know.

"When's the audition?"

"20th July."

"Okay, I'll mark it on my calendar. I'll follow you to give you support!!"

I did a playful wink too.
Her lips curved into a wide smile.

Jennie, however, didn't have much friends,
like me.
She's actually a really nice and friendly girl,
don't know why she's so introverted.
I guess you can't judge a book by its cover.

After school, school compound.

I sat down on a chair,
near the dance studio.
I was waiting for Naeun,
who's classroom is on the same level.

I sighed as I scrolled through Instagram.
Looking at how interesting people's lives are.
Traveling the world with their partners.
Living their lives to the fullest.

And there we have Korean high school students.
18 year olds.
Studying 24/7,
in order to get into college.
Commuting suicide,
due to peer pressure and stress.

Music started playing loudly.
It sounded like...

I immediately thought of Taemin's dance that day.
I still could remember his whole choreography,

I looked towards the dance studio
and noticed there was someone inside.
A guy.
Wearing a hoodie over his head.
He looked really familiar.

Out of curiosity,
I went towards the door.
Peeped through the small window.

And there he was.
Lee Taemin.
