David ~
The next morning, I slowly opened my eyes as the light from the window forced itself upon my eyelids. I smelled the aroma of bacon and pancakes and that's when I felt for Isaiah to see that he wasn't in bed. I sat up, rubbing my eyes, blinking multiple times to get the sleep out of my eyes.
I heard faint laughter coming from outside of the room and I got out of bed, dressed in my gym shorts and a t-shirt, to go and say good morning. I walked into the kitchen to see Carlos and Israel being all cute with each other, Carlos kissing him on his cheeks as they cooked together.
I saw Isaiah washing plates and forks at the sink. They all turned to smile at me as I entered the kitchen, yawning to myself.
"Good morning David," everyone exclaimed.
I smiled and said good morning back to them.
"Have a seat, the food is almost done," Israel sweetly said.
Carlos sat across from me as Israel and Isaiah finished with the food. He smiled at me and looked as if he wanted to say something, but decided against it as Israel and Isaiah placed our plates in front of us.
...After we ate, we all sat and started light conversation.
"So, I was thinking that we could go on a double date tonight, go to a restaurant or something, to maybe get to know David a little more," Carlos said.
Isaiah smiled and Israel smirked. They all turned and looked at me, waiting for my response.
"Uh, Yea, that sounds nice."
"Great," Israel said.
I glanced over at Isaiah and he gave me a handsome smile.
...When it came time to go to the restaurant, I was excited. I didn't know that we could possibly go out somewhere fancy to eat, so I had only packed casual clothes, of course with the exception of my suit that I'd wear to my grandmother's funeral. To my surprise, when I emerged from the bathroom, I saw that everyone else was dressed in casual clothes too.
"You look nice David," Isaiah said.
Carlos and Israel smiled at each other as we made our way out of the house.
...Isaiah sat in the back seat with me as Israel drove, with Carlos in the passenger seat.
"So David, what are you into," Israel asked.
My mind raced through the things that I liked, but as cheesy as it sounds, all I could really think about was Isaiah. I glanced over at him and he smirked at me, as if he knew what I was thinking.
"Uh, I'm not really into anything... other than your father I guess."
Isaiah covered his face and chuckled behind his hands. Israel and Carlos chuckled too, making me feel a little awkward.
"Well, that's good. I'm glad that someone likes him."
"I... love him actually."
I didn't feel any different by saying that I loved Isaiah, being that there was an awkward silence when I said it. It probably took Carlos and Israel off guard, but I meant it.
Carlos chuckled, "That's awesome."
"Yea," said Israel.
I glanced at Isaiah and he was smirking at me, making me glance away, probably blushing.
We walked into the restaurant and were sat by a waiter. Isaiah sat in front of me and Israel sat next to me, with Carlos sitting across from him. As I settled into my seat, I could feel Isaiah's legs against mine. I smiled as he winked at me, holding my hand on the table.
