Unfamiliar faces lead to fake smiles, and empty laughs, and long pauses. Unfamiliar faces lead to forgotten information, and hollow high fives, and meaningless critizations. Unfamiliar faces lead to bruised topics, and careless feelings, and useless footsteps. Unfamiliar faces lead to side hugs, and frivolous goodbyes, and dull fist bumps. Unfamiliar faces lead to discouraging encouragement, mislead hellos, and guilty sadness. Unfamiliar faces lead to nice arguments, and disgusting make ups, and wonderful hours, and no one tomorrow. Unfamiliar faces leads to loneliness in a crowded hallway, and scattered names, and worried looks. Unfamiliar faces lead to passing by, and bad reasons to say hi, and looking up to fly, and hoping to say bye, and pointless with time, and more terrible ways to cry, sometimes wishing you could just die, or maybe to come alive, feeling dry and untied, not specified, like you didn't try. Unfamiliar faces remind me that you're not there by my side...and I don't know why, and I don't know anyone.
