Chapter 11

(Jewel's p.o.v.)

(Planet Umbris Airspace)

(Time for a flashy montage)

I stood between where Ratchet and Cora are sitting with my protosuit on as Brax took a seat beside Ratchet., who had his protosuit on as well. I asked, "Elaris, are we close enough? Elaris turned to us saying, "We're as close as we can get without being spotted." I nodded and Ratchet said, "Okay, so what's the plan, Elaris?" Brax smiled saying to Elaris, "Go on. We're listening." I smiled at them for letting Elaris to explain the plan before Elaris said showing a hologram of a glove, "Well, I've been hard at work on a little something called the Hologuise."

(3rd's p.o.v.)

"It'll project a visual and audible replication of Captain Qwark so realistic, it would fool his own mother. With Ratchet posing as Qwark, they'll dock the Deplanetizer by easily fooling the simpleminded Blarg."

Jewel and Clank watched as Ratchet looked at the Hologuise and pressed the button causing him to disguise as Captain Qwark before wiggling his eyebrows at us and smiling big. Jewel gives a thumbs up and Ratchet looks forward then flew the fighter close to the Deplanetizer.

A Blarg rolls his chair to the controls and said as the screen showed Ratchet disguised as Qwark, "Yes, Captain. What can I do for you?" Ratchet said sounding like and talking like Qwark to fool him, "Greetings, citizen. Just returning from patrol." The Blarg replied while typing on the controls, "Copy that. Deactivating shield grid 24 A."

"Once inside, Ratchet, Jewel, and Clank will make their way through the Star Cracker chamber to the inner core."

The now not disguised Ratchet and Jewel looked down below to see the core. Ratchet launched his grappling hook and gently holds Jewel close to him as they carefully lowered down without being spotted by a Blarg. When they reached the core, Clank gets off Ratchet's back and runs to a different direction as Ratchet lets go of Jewel. Ratchet and Jewel nodded to each other then ran towards the inner core.

"When Ratchet and Jewel exposes the stabilizer, it can quickly be disconnected..."

Ratchet turns the screw using his Omniwrench with Jewel's help then the stabilizer comes out. Then Ratchet carefully grabs it as he said, "Yes. Got it." "The plan is going good so far as planned.", Jewel said with a smile making him smile back at her.

"Meanwhile, Clank will disable all the other weapons by hacking into the mainframe."

Clank types on the controls as he hacks in to it to disable the weapons and he did with success before saying, "Weapons system disabled."

"Leaving the Deplanetizer completely vulnerable to any outside forces."

All the weapons on the on the Deplanetizer outside went offline and a Blarg sees something on the screen showing the weapons offline. Then the Blarg gasps and all the Blargs panicked as the alarm said, "Warning. Warning. Core stabilizer offline." A Blarg ran up to the other and shook him saying before slapping him, "Run away! Everybody panic!" "Warning. Warning.", the alarm said. A Blarg said while panicking, "What's happening?"

Dr. Nefarious runs to a escape pod and went to get inside before stopping when he heard a Blarg say in panic as the Blarg ran up to him, "Dr. Nefarious, sir...I mean, Doctor! Where are you going?" "Me? Nowhere. Certainly not out of a system-wide blast radius.", Nefarious lied. The Blarg the asked confused, "What?" "What?", Nefarious asked back. Then the Blarg said, "We've been infiltrated. The Galactic Rangers are trying to shut down the Deplanetizer, and I can't find Chairmen Drek anywhere!" Dr. Nefarious then said to himself before going off to finish the job, "Ah! You want something done right, you have to do it yourself."
