I won't speak. I won't sing. I won't eat. Alex found me. He took me to his aunt's house to be nursed back to health. Apparently I had pneumonia and was in a coma for a week. I'm just glad that he hasn't told my dad.

I was cold and wishing I hadn't run away when Alex found me. The last thing I remembered before blacking out was clutching onto Alex lovingly, treasuring the warmth of his body. I don't remember hitting my head. I don't remember the week that I was in a coma. Next thing I know, Alex is sleeping in a chair next to me and his aunt comes in with a plate of food. "Morning dear, how are you feeling? " she asks in a sweet voice.
"Did Alex bring me here?"
"Yes, between the two of us, I think he has a thing for you, Elodie."
"Really? I was blushing so much.
I felt so embarrassed. Wait a minute, why am I here.
" Why am I here? What happened? "
She sat down next to me.
"Alex went to find you 6 days after you left, he saw where you were heading. He found you weak and cold. You held onto him weakly and then hit your head..."
"I don't remember hitting my head."
"Oh, dearie, you're going to have to stay here longer then. I didn't realize it was that bad. After you hit your head, Alex realised that you needed immediate attention. He brought you here and begged me not to say anything to anyone. You had pneumonia and were in a coma for a week. Alex has been so worried. He hasn't left your side."She finished with a sigh.
"Can you keep a secret?" I asked.
She silently nodded and I carried on. "I have a crush on Alex."
