My dad has a rowing boat hire and Elodie has hired one for a year. I think she's up to something. Maybe she's running away. I don't know, but I'm going to go check on her. She hired the boat yesterday and she's picking it up today. If I'm lucky, she'll be at the boat yard. I still have time before she picks it up.

She's gone. I can see her boat going to st. Patrick's cove. I've got to tell dad.

It's been six days since anyone has seen her. I'm worried. She may not love me but I love her and I can't let anything happen to her. Tomorrow, her dad and mine are leading a search party to st. Patrick's cove. I want her to be found but maybe if I find her, she won't be intimidated, or have to go through so much. That's why I am going to find her tonight.

I've found her. She's tired, weak and cold. I'm taking her back now. She's holding her weak arms around my body for warmth.

Alex takes Elodie back to her aunt's house as his aunt is a nurse. She nurses Elodie back to health. Alex is staying with her. They're staying there for another week but no one knows that they're there.

"Hey, Elodie why haven't you sung since I found you?"
"My voice is horrible, I don't want to torture you with it."
That's all she said to me that day. She wouldn't speak, she wouldn't sing, she wouldn't even eat. I've decided to take her home tomorrow. Then she might speak to me again.
