*Back at the dorm*
Door shuts

"Ahh! Diana! Guess who I got paired up with" Mel says running into the dorm with a smile and jumping in place
"Who?"
"MARK!" She replies screaming and jumping up and down
"Ooh, the handsome one?"
"Yesss, ah this is gonna be so good, oh btw...do you not know who got7 are?"
She asks with a confused look
"Now I do" I say with a chuckle

We end up talking for a bit and
A few hours later

Getting ready for bed after we unpacked everything, we were getting ready to sleep, the two beds were in one room so it was actually fun, it felt like a sleepover or something

"Diana...? You never told me who you got as a partner?"  Mel asks out of curiosity as she's laying in bed facing me

"Oh I got Yugyeom" I reply with a smile

"You're so lucky! Actually...
you two would look cute together." she says
"MEL! Then I ship you with mark."
"Pfft, I don't mind" she replies with a chuckle and I start laughing too

We spent the next hour or so, talking about each other and we became best friends overnight.

The next day

We finish all our dance, singing and language classes and head to meet our partners.

As I'm walking through the hallway that leads to the garden, I see another trainee giving me glares as she's standing next to the wall...

What's her problem?...

I walk past her as I feel her eyes following me where I'm going.
It was so strange but I kept walking

I come out to the garden and meet Yugyeom outside, since this is where he wanted to meet
As I go up to him he sees me, and says

"Diana! Hiiii" with a smile as he's sitting under a tree

Awh his smile is so cute!
Wait, uh obviously...who wouldn't find it cute right?

"Annyeong yugyeom! What are we gonna do today?" I ask with a smile
And sit down next to him

"I have no idea" he replies with a chuckle
I low key chuckle in the background

"I know these are supposed to be lessons or something on how to be a good idol blah blah blah, but how about this, for our first lesson, we can just talk and get to know each other to make it less awkward?" He asks

"I like it, okay so what should we start with?"

Time passes quickly and we quickly become close friends, he was really comfortable to be around weirdly, even though I didn't know him personally

Yugyeom checks his phone
*11pm*

"Ah its getting late, we've been talking for hours" he says with chuckle
"Omo...sorry for keeping you up, I know you're really busy" I say looking down
"No no, I actually had fun talking with you, you seem different from others, I like it "

I feel my cheeks starting to burn only to realise that I was blushing...
"Why...
Stop it, what's wrong with you Diana??" I think to myself

"Yea-
My voice cracks completely.
I immediately cover my mouth with my hands out of embarrassment

*Yugyeom bursts into laughter*

Pabo. Absolute pabo. Ahh this is so embarrassing.

"Well umm I've got to go so I'll see you tomorrow!" I say as I get up and quickly walk towards the dorms

I get to my dorm and I immediately fall into my bed face flat.

"You alright?" Mel asks from the other side of the room

"Aishh, that was so embarrassing." I mumble into my pillow

"OH what did you do!?...?" Mel asks as she sits up facing me

I turn to her
I sign loudly
"Well.."
And tell her the story

She bursts out laughing too

"Ahhh." I say as I dump my face in to the pillow again

"It's alright, it's not a big deal" she says with an amused face

"Not a big deal? I went from Beyoncé to squeaky chipmunk in 0.5 seconds and to make it worse, he laughed for a good 5 minutes" I tell her as I look over

"Why do you even care that he was laughing?...?" She asks as she comes closer to my bed

"Because obviously..
"umm.
"because..
"He's my partner"
Ah she was right though,I lied, I didn't really m know why I care about it...I just do.

"Ah I'm tired, I'm going to sleep" I reply, and then start fake snoring.

"Aishh...This girl" you hear Mel mumble next to you
