Preparation (06)

Mel's POV

Diana came back late yesterday, I was too tired to ask why so I ignored it.

She was laying in her bed for the next hour or so, talking to herself, at first I was confused, I didn't know what she was talking about until she said those words

"Kim Yugyeom"
"I think...I like You"

My eyes widened, I was facing the other way to make sure she didn't see that I was awake

I knew she liked him from day 1, although I never thought she would admit it until today.

I'm not just gonna ignore it, I'll make sure they end up together.

Diana's POV

The next week was pretty normal, there weren't any 'partner' sessions since the members had a busy schedule and were out of the country for the week

So it was essentially just dance, singing and language lessons on a daily basis.

Shi Jung and Rena were the same, they kept talking about how the got7 boys "loved them" at the meet up...
although they were so focused on themselves that they forgot about me

I'm not complaining...

Time passed by quickly, it's been a few days since I had last seen Yugyeom and the other Got7 members, although I didn't spend much time with them, I missed having those dorks around

Lessons ended early once again, for whatever reason.

I'm heading towards my dorm,  When I hear my phone make a slight noise

I check to see a message from an unknown number saying

"Hey Diana! How's the trainee life going? ;)"

I stood in the middle of an empty hallway, just staring at my phone and re reading the text in confusion..

"Uhh..how did you get my number and how do you know my name?"

"I have my ways."
"Just kidding, its Yugyeom"

I let out a sigh of relief as well as a smile that escaped my face without me realising.

Remember Diana...
Act Cool.

"Gosh, I thought I was being stalked for a second, hi!"

                   Wow. Just Wow.

"Haha"

"Was that sarcasm?"

"Pffttt no..."

I'm glad I was in an empty hallway, otherwise people may think I'm crazy from giggling at my phone.

"Uh huh"
"so did you wanna tell me or ask me something?"

"Oh yeah, were coming back tomorrow, I wanted you to be the first to know, were throwing a party to celebrate our comeback and all trainees are invited! It's tomorrow night, make sure you're ready!"

"Ohhh Daebak! Thank you for telling me in advance ^^"

"No problem, I've got to go, talk to you later x"

As I was reading the text, I found myself squealing loudly in a high pitched voice
I guess it attracted some witches.
I turned around quickly to see Shi Jung and Rena.

My smile immediately disappeared when I saw the look on their faces

"Why the hell are you squealing like a pig."
Shi Jung says with a sassy tone

"I heard that high pitches noises scare away crows so I wanted to try, I guess it didn't work"
"It's not like it's your business anyway"

"I think it is" Rena says as She grabs my phone from my hand and looks through the messages

...

"Yah. What do you think you're doing"
Rena lifted her eyebrows up with a look of disgust

"How Pathetic"
Shi Jung Takes the phone from Rena and throws it to the ground, making it smash and continuously stepping on it

"Yah!" I quickly pushed her feet off and picked up my phone to see it completely broken.

"Serves you right"
Rena crosses her arms, looking down at me

"Oh, and Just so you know, yugyeom will never like a thing like you."
Shi Jung says as she pushes my head with her finger aggressively

I felt my hands clench
I didn't have the courage to say or do anything.
All I could do was sit on the floor as I felt my tears run across my face and drop onto the wooden floor

I didn't realise I was crying...
maybe it was because, I knew that was Shi Jung said...
was not completely wrong.

I sat there, i didn't know what to do.

A few minutes later, I heard a familiar voice in the background

"Omg Diana!?"

I slightly look up to see Mel running towards me with a look of worry

I'm glad I've got her, Mel's the only person holding me up.

She runs up to me and gives me a tight hug...
I rested my head on he shoulder, and started crying more than I did before.

We spent 10 minutes in that position, I slowly moved back, showing her I'm okay

"Come on, let's go to the dorm and tell me what happened"

I slowly nodded and walked with her dorm.

I told her everything, from Shi Jung and Rena to Me liking Yugyeom.

She stayed quiet, supporting me and listening to what I had to say

When I finished, she gave me another tight hug and said
"It's okay, it will get better, trust me"

I hugged back, hearing those words made me relax, I was relieved to hear them.
I know I can trust her, and I know she'll be here when I need her.

"Okay enough of this sad stuff"
"Let's go shopping for dresses"
She asked as she wiped her own tears as well as mine, whilst smiling.

"Why..?"

"We have to make sure you look for Yugyeom, let's go"

A bit of a weird/sad chapter 😂 and the ending was pretty strange but I hope those that are still reading will continue and finish the book! Only a few chapters left ^^
