Chapter 11

Right after I had gotten better Jackson had gotten sick. Since he had taken care of me when I was sick, I decided I owed him one. After making him soup that my mother loved to make, i head to the room he is staying in.
"I have a question, Mr Jackson." I sit down beside him.
"What is it?" I slip a spoonful of soup into his mouth as his eyes widen and he sneezes all over me.
"Ewwww!" I grab a new shirt. "Jackie, you might wanna look away." I change my shirt once he turns away but am still worried that he caught a glimpse of the marking on my back. I walk over to Jackson whose still recovering from the sneeze. Once again, I dive the spoon into the bowl and put it in his mouth. "As i was saying... What do you know about me?" He hesitates before answering.
"I know your name is Amelia Brandly and you were dating my best friend. Your father wasn't who you thought he was and I know you can't lose your virginity as well as you cannot be loved that kind of way." Wow, he knew everything. "Amelia, If you can't lose your virginity, then why has Andrew not died?" I shrug and tears threaten to fall. "Wait... do you think he just stripped you down and never saw the marking?" I hesitate before answering.
"What marking?"
"T..." He begins to cough for a little bit then speaks, "The marking on your back."
"You saw that?! How are you not dead?!" He shifts in his seat.
"Amelia, I wish I could tell you but I cant. Just know your like me." My heart starts pounding and I crawl in bed with him.
"Since Andrew never could take my virginity... Will you ever be able to take mine?" Why did I ask such a thing?
I al- "Yes, but not today, Waffles." We scooted closer to each other until we touched. My face heated up and I could feel myself getting comfortable. Andrew flashed back into my mind. My eyes were watery but this time, not that bad. Maybe it's time to move on...
