What happened next was only a blur as I tried to return his heartbeat. I couldn't lose him, I knew I couldn't.
The once straight lines disappeared as Jackson's heartbeat returned. "J-Jack!" I kissed him gently and longingly. His eyes fluttered open and he began to kiss back. I pull away laughing lovingly  "Never say goodbye to me like that ever again."
I thought nothing of it. I couldn't. All I could think about was being with Jackson. Being with my Jackson. I ran outta the room to tell Camilla that Jackie was alive. She looked pale and astonished as well as every other doctor. They couldn't understand how he could be alive if they just saw him die right before their eyes. Quickly, I pranced back into the room with him knowing he was in there waiting for me. Standing at the window was Jackson fully dressed.
"Amelia, let's go home." He grunted deeply, his voice low and rough. He picked me up and walked outta the hospital just like that. No one even cared that we just left without paying. I shrugged it off guessing his parent's butler had already paid after being pushed outta the room. Camilla drove us home and decided to break the awkward silence.
"So, are you guys official or is this like friends with benefits of some sort?" I shot her a glare but the words to tell her to shut up were caught in my throat. Behind me, Jackson chuckled, wrapping his arms around me and the seat. "Jackson, no way in hell am I gonna keep driving with you hugging my sister after you just died." Smirking she starts to swerve the car side to side on the empty road above speed limit. Jack's grip tightened on me as if he was holding on for dear life. Panicking, I grab ahold of his hands. Laughing she slows down and I punch her as hard as I can.
"Not funny! We could've died" She grins, "I got two miracle workers in the car with me! There's no way we could die!" Jackson's grasp loosens as he sits back and I close my eyes, sighing.
Camilla, I don't think we're miracles...
